My daughters are madly into K-pop at the moment. The K-pop section is slowly starting to explain so it’s good to visit to get what they want. The website offers a little more than in store. I always like looking at the FNAF and pokemon stuff too. There’s now plenty of loungefly goodies too
The layout of this shop confuses me. Also there’s never any staff around to help anyone??? I was looking for the new NIN vinyl and had to queue at the till just to ask a question and was answered very curtly and rudely by the staff member. Price of vinyls in here is so overpriced too.
I've been into this hmv whilst in Norwich and always found myself making a purchase, the staff are friendly and helpful, I'll look forward to visiting again soon
03.10.2023 Lots of stock but nowhere near as many cds, dvds or videos as they did in the 90's! Very well organised and store with helpful staff.
Out of all the hmvs I have been too this is one on the better side! Lovely amount of space and very lovely and polite staff who are quick and efficient, everything is laid out neat and tidy and you can find lots of different and fun anime,gaming and show related items and merchandise.
Staff, especially Rach, were really great in helping me choose a record player. Sadly it was defective due to no fault of the shop, but they allowed me to exchange it for another with no fuss so can't complain there. Solid service and class shop
Been shopping with HMV since it was on Gentleman's Walk and further up in Chapelfield. Absolutely fantastic service every time I visit. With a brilliant range of 4K Blu-Ray films, gifts and shirts. Definitely a great place for personal shopping or gift hunting. I recently returned some faulty wireless earbuds, they gave me 10/10 service despite it being a return. 5* will continue to visit!
Many years now since I wandered and browsed around a big HMV store, and actually thought the brand was now online only. Clearly not! And loved walking around looking at everything they have to offer. Felt like stepping back in time 15 years with loads of CDs, vinyl, DVDs and all the film and music merch to go with it. Love it.
Great selection of Blu-rays, DVDs and music! Went in for a browse and ended up £60 poorer. At least I got some cool new films and TV shows to watch though! :)
