   I went all over Worthing just looking for a gas hose & regulator to fit in my camper. After going to B&Q, Wickes, Toolstation & Screwfix, ALL with no luck I realised I had forgotten about Goring Hardware. After all that running around I wish I had just come straight here (Which I will be in the future) to get what I needed. An added bonus is the fact it's not a big chain yet stock what the big chains don't. I will 100% be using these again & I can't recommend enough. I will be coming here first & supporting Goring Hardware with my business from now on. Great Local Hardware Shop..

   If the thought of going to a gigantic DIY behemoth establishment, just for a couple of items fills you with dread, Goring Hardware is your ideal replacement. With very knowledgeable & experienced staff, they will provide you with not only what you need, but they'll do it with super customer service too. The manager Colin is a really nice & pleasant chap, always happy to go the extra mile in order to help his customer. Walking inside is like a veritable treasure trove of all things homewares & DIY. The garden too, especially their great selection of plants, veg & herbs out the front. A 'proper' old fashioned shop! A beautiful reminder of yesteryear.

   Super happy with this hardware store as they always have what I want. My latest purchase is bags of wood hips for my garden. Cheaper here than the two big local garden centres PLUS they deliver locally. Brilliant!

   I came into the Goribg Hardware store today 6/6/20 to buy some paint. I touched approximstely 5-6 pots of paint to read application details etc. I was suddenly being rudely spoken to by an Arkwright type shop keeper complaining that I had touched every pot of paint over several shelves and that technically he should now ask everyone to leave, close the shop and wipe every paint pot down. I remained calm and asked if he would like me to leave. He said no and he was not being rude. However, he was plain rude. I only go their to avoid the queues at wickes etc and being a little highness to a small independent business who might need it at this time. However, I have always found the people in tgis shop to be blunt, unfriendly and occasionally rude. In fact only once Have I ever received a pleasant smile and willingness to help from a lady there . Well done that lady. Good luck GGW store your shop resembles something out of open all hours with no customer services and a really poor display. And selection of stock. Please don’t waist your time or money here from Nd real public
