The pub looks very inviting from the outside, and it doesn’t disappoint inside. The staff are a very welcoming, such a beautiful pub. Popped in for a quick drink, had soup and pate spread. Both tasty and well presented. Returned in the evening and had a meal by the open fire. Absolutely stunning. The Steak and Ale pie we both chose was really good, no scrimping on the steak. Can’t say how much we enjoyed it, wish it was my local!

The lasagna was rich and cheesy, chips perfectly crispy and the garlic bread was spot on. Great food, drinks, and friendly service!

We dined here for both nights of our stay in Norwich. The food was excellent and well cooked. Staff attentive. Definitely worth a visit.

We popped in for lunch. We didn't book as it was a random day. However they accommodated us. And made changes to the meals as required for my daughter. Also a nice selection of non alcoholic beverages. I had to leave and collect my daughter and left my grandmother here, and Ellie made sure the food was kept warm until I got back. Very helpful staff and Ellie was very attentive =)

Staying at a nearby b&b, recommended by the owner. Not disappointed. Prompt courteous service from a new waitress. Good choice of drinks including very well priced 0% Guinness! Salad garnish a bit tired and the pate was less than a generous portion. Mains however were excellent. Chicken & ham pie with all of the 5 a day veg, recommended. All piping hot. Pestered by flies who clearly fancied our food as well. Will visit again whilst in the area but will go straight for mains.

Brilliant, the food was great and the festive menu was well worth it. You can bring dogs in here so that was nice. There was a lovely fire in the grate. Delicious zero alcohol cocktails too!

Dog friendly pub. All the dogs that were there, were well behaved and we love dogs so was lovely to be around them. There is lots of seating so if your not a fan best to inform the staff on arrival. Unfortunately we had to wait an hour for our main meals. We were given our starter and drinks and then forgotten about until we had to ask the staff where are food was. We were given a round of drinks for free as an apology but when your hungry you just want your food. However once we got our food it was incredible!

Had a lovely time here with my wife but felt it wasn’t quite a 5 star place. The starter was amazing fantastic flavour and presentation would recommend to everyone to try the lamb koftas. The main was a bit of a let down presentation was like a school dinner and was just a bit sloppy (signature burger). Finally the desert was amazing again the brownies where just great. I would go again but I’d personally stay away from the burger menu section. Staff where fantastic
