    Absolutely shocking experience. Seeing expired food openly sitting on the shelves is disgusting and worrying. When questioned, there was no explanation, no apology, and no responsibility taken at all. The staff were extremely rude, and the butcher was outright awful and aggressive — completely unfit to deal with customers. This place shows zero respect for customers’ health or safety. I left angry and disappointed. I will never return and strongly warn others to be careful.

    The Jewish butcher is far better than them trust me, and he got equivalent to halal meat. I usually don't like to write bad reviews. Don't ever buy fresh food, vegi or meat,the worst shop , they just refused to refund out of date product I bought from them, deserve zero star

    Wow what a delightful place to shop! Fresh veg and fruit. Huge varieties of produce of all kinds. There's even a butchers at the back! I'm so excited to shop here more. It really opens up London road to a range of tasty unique products and fresh and healthy foods. I could spend hours in here just looking at everything.

    Finally it is open! Try the fresh curry and samosas! I've now known Taj since the Taj Mahal days on Bedford Place, in those days we used to buy fresh ingredients to make Tim's amazingly spicy green curry, everything from scratch. Today i bought a chicken curry at lunchtime, delicious! The area will benefit from a more diverse shop, wish I knew more about cooking. Only negative is that the long haired guitar carrying London Road shop lifter is active there
