   Generally, this branch is well managed and stocked by friendly and efficient staff. However, this year there was no sugar free Shloer, while other supermarkets were selling them at £1.50. Also there was no zero alcohol mulled wine stocked, while Aldi's was so popular that they ran out of it. People are far more health conscious now. The quality of a lot of the fruit and vegetables is better than Aldi's and lasts longer.

   The only problem I see with this Tesco is that a lot of the younger employees are on there phones. It's takes ages to get there attention maybe not having a phone when your working may be a good idea.

   Good sized Tesco with most of the products you will need. Also has sections located throughout the store which has extra discounted products and can always find an exceptional deal here and there.

   Purchased avocado pears only 2 in a box to see them. When I opened the box one was completely black and inedible ruined my meal. They were dated 2nd August. I have also found prices much higher than Sainsbury's. I could not phone to complain as there was no one available to ans the phone at 6.30pm. What a shame I used to love the portslade store but feel unable to use it any more. This was not the first time products and prices have been poor and prices not right on shelf. Especially on fruit and veg. I am so sad to write this. This was express store in Boundary Road Hove.

   Store rents land to passport machine. The machine says 10 tries for pic. Second pic it said green light to biometric scan. 8 more tries. So I try the others. All fail scan clearly leaving me 1 that passed for my money. No option to retrieve that pic though. Had to pay £10 again. This time all 10 pics failed the scan. So I left with passport pic which failed their scan for £20. Spoke to tesco customer service and she said sorry cant help you. I was robbed. Their punishment is I wont use Tesco again. Aldi. Lidyl. Sainsburys. Not Tesco or Asda. Meaning im financially punishing Tesco. My club card going in the bin.

   The store is run by kids on their mobile phones. Management have no idea what goes on in the evening there.

   Better if you are not coming in the last minutes. The security guy was rude chasing me and threatening me if I’m not going to do my shopping before closing he going to ban me. He was without uniform in a hurry and he went out of the store at 10 pm. 14-02-23 very disappointed :(

   Top place in Portslade. Love it. Sells all the top brands of cider and other drinks. Sells top products at a reasonable price. Nice well trained staff. A well run store over lock down.
