   This is the second time we’ve been misled by the butchers at this store with mixed or incorrect meat. We come here specifically for goat meat. Since moving to Worthing, we used to visit the MB Grocery on Brighton Road, where the staff are always polite and honest. They’ve consistently provided good quality meat and are upfront about freshness — whether it’s good or not. We’ve been loyal customers there for the past 3–4 years. After moving closer to Chapel Road, we noticed another MB Grocery branch nearby and trusted them based on our previous experience. Unfortunately, the staff here have not lived up to the same standard. I’ve noticed several instances of them promoting old stock and misrepresenting the meat being sold. It’s disappointing and untrustworthy. As adults, we may have the immunity to tolerate some minor issues in food quality, but when it comes to feeding children, this is completely unacceptable. I strongly discourage anyone from buying meat here for family consumption, especially for young children. I sincerely urge the Worthing Council or local food safety authorities to conduct regular inspections of this shop. And to the staff: please don’t take the trust of your customers for granted. Once it’s broken, it’s very hard to earn back.

   We’ve been using them for years. There are two branches in the Worthing town centre - a small one near Wilkos and the larger sister shop is near The Egremont pub. Both branches stock a great range of South Asian food - North Indian, South Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi. We buy North Indian & Pakistani foods. However there’s also a range of Oriental food - noodles, rice, sauces & so forth. Plus a small range of Caribbean food, olives & non-food items such as incense sticks & Henna. We love the fact there’s tinned, fresh, dry, frozen and refrigerated food. The halal meat counter is always clean and always well stocked. Extra special thanks to the bubbly man who always prepares fantastic meat for us & knows exactly the type of cut needed depending on the curry you’re making! The meat is full of flavour and easy to cook. All the staff are hardworking, efficient and friendly. The shop is always clean, well maintained & well stocked. Never had a problem with expiry dates! This is because I check that sort of information BEFORE I make a purchase! If I ever DID spot an out of date item I wouldn’t buy it! Simple! Therefore, the ‘reviewer’ who spotted ONE out of date item AFTER they left the shop has no right to come on here and damn the ENTIRE shop! That’s childish. Shame on them! I say to others give the shop a chance. Walk in and see for yourselves - that costs nothing. You will see a range of authentic food that you simply won’t see even in the best supermarkets! However I doubt you will leave the shop empty handed!

   I hope you take your products off the shelf if it's already out of date. Just bought something only to find out it's out of date since June of this year and someone already wrote "OUT OF DATE". I know it isn't a big deal for you but It's just a hassle in our part to go back to your store if we're already at home and we live a bit far. Hope this doesn't happen again cos it's annoying.

   Popped in yesterday Very interesting place cross greengrocer & smoothie/lassi shop very friendly fella that runs it. Has lots of knowledge re free from health benefits. Had chia lassi combo very filling healthy and tasted great.

   Very polite staff. Wide variety of foods from all corners of the globe. Very clean and well maintained shop. I enjoyed my shopping experience there. The owner even gave me tips on how I could make my curries better. I will definately shop there more often. Great service.
