Never got any stock. It's like a world war 2 rational shop. People don't forget to take your ration cards

Awful. Truly awful. The worst layout I have seen of any store. Cramped and tiny so you can hardly move. Constantly having to move if you're browsing a section for more than five seconds. Always insanely busy. Certain times of the day are a no go, made the mistake of coming in after 4 with about a hundred school kids all crammed in the store at once and more fighting to get in as they don't limit the number inside the store at one time. Can't even imagine how much shoplifting goes on.

the St George’s Road, Kemp Town branch in Brighton. Unfortunately, the service at this store has been consistently negative. The staff members are often very rude, watching customers like hawks and even going as far as to accuse people of stealing without cause. This creates a very uncomfortable and hostile shopping environment. On top of this, the store layout is confusing and unwelcoming, shelves are frequently empty, and basic items are often not in stock. I find myself having to shop elsewhere, and I would strongly recommend Budgens down the road instead, where the service and availability of products are far superior. I believe this store is damaging the Co-op’s reputation, and I hope these concerns are taken seriously and addressed

Some staff are fine, some are just plain rude and incompetent. The shop was probably better when it was a third the size, largely only because less people went in because they knew it was just so small. Before, the tiny store was packed with items that most people likely won’t want or need, now the shop is three times the size, designed maybe by a computer with no orientation skills, packed with items most people likely won’t want or need, just more of them, and of course at least twice the price of other supermarkets, because of the convenience… I understand the organisation somehow became hacked and destroyed their delivery mechanisms, but why weeks or months later are there still problems? Maybe they’re not charging customers enough money for their pleasant and convenient shopping experience… If you want lots of options to buy alcohol you may find what you need - but isn’t alcoholism the reason staff need to be protected inside the new glass cage? Please, please do better.

Tiny aisles clearly not designed for humans, made even worse by staff restocking the shelves using giant cages. Prices OK considering its location in a city centre largely devoid of useful things like grocery shops.

Down to 1 star. Two members staff, older, female and with blonde/white hair are incredibly rude. They are more interested in chatting about local cokeheads than in serving customers. Wouldn't ever want to say this but they should be replaced with self-checkouts for a more pleasant experience. A very cramped store with limited selection made worse by stocking problems. Staff, on the whole, aren’t great. It’s redeeming feature is the bread loaves available on reduced.

I’ve visited this store many times as it seems to be the nearest to the children’s hospital but I don’t like the fact it is not pushchair/wheelchair friendly as I really struggle with the steps and no one seems to help.

I wouldn't even give then one star to be honest. Placed a order via ubereats for this store which when ordering through ubereats from there store there princes go up through the roof but that's not issue but due to this I expect to get good quality food packed for me. In my ordered I ordered strawberries for my son who is 5 years old has autism and adhd and really wanted them for them to turned up with best before date of today and look like they had seen better days in no way fit enough to eat and give to my son. So you can imagine the poor melt down my son had no fault of his own. Staff clearly need better training as theses never should have been sent. Next time I go in the store I dont feel I will be paying for strawberries

Karina is a smiling bundle of joy the best staff member a company could want and a credit to the coop should be working in a fish and chop shop full time instead ✌️

Staff are lovely. Can't really help that it's a very small premises in a fairly busy area so it gets very cramped. Plus no self-service checkouts makes for long queues at peak times - feel that's more an issue for Co Op to address. The staff are always helpful, friendly and polite.
