Had a 3 night New Yearβs Eve stay here with a coach trip. The room (in the βWest Wingβ annex) was absolutely freezing cold, we had to ask for an electric heater. The food in the Brasserie went from mediocre on the first night to absolutely awful on the third night. On the positive side the staff were excellent.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Crewe hall where we attended a family event. The staff were fantastic throughout, and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was large, bright and airy, with an extremely comfortable four poster bed. The evening meal was delicious (we dined in the library as a group and the staff were extremely attentive) and breakfast in the brasserie plentiful and tasty. The hotel itself and the grounds are stunning and lovely to walk around. We will be returning for a longer stay!

This is a great hotel that combines history and grandeur with modern facilities. It has a large conference facility and runs it well. There are rooms in the old part of the hotel as well as in the new extension. I was fortunate enough to stay in the old part. I had a suite, which was huge. It was very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely although it was let down by the plumbing. The flow from the cold taps was slow. It took a long time to obtain hot water which never really became much more than Luke warm. This was a shame as I was looking forward to a long soak in the full size bath. Service was good although check and check out was slow. The location is great for east Cheshire beauty spots and very accessible from the M6.

Stayed here with my mum and sister. We had a ground floor room which was very accessible. The food in the restaurant good. The leisure facilities were very good, clean and accessible. The old part of the hotel was wonderful and we enjoyed a coffee in the bar area. The other thing worth noting is they have plenty of Roma car charging points.

Fantastic place to visit! So much history, the rooms are amazing. The art work is spectacular. Food, morning and night was great and fair prices, so too was the drinks. Great selection of wines, spirits and cocktails. The room was definitely large enough with a bath and shower. Boasting great views from the window and the stained glass was such a bonus! The pool was decent size and the changing rooms were very clean and modern too. Hot tub could definitely of been larger but that is the only problem I could find at this place and I've stayed them all. Will definitely definitely be using again.

We stayed here overnight on a spa deal and wow, we were blown away. The drive up to the castle is just wow!! The castle has so much history and we really enjoyed walking around reading about everything. The staff are really friendly and we even got shown personally to our room which was a lovely touch. I can't remember the man who took us but he was very informative and I was happy to meet another step counter - ha. We used the spa and again, super helpful. I forgot to pack a bobbly for myself and the lady on reception looked everywhere and managed to find one and she came and gave me it which I was so so so grateful for - THANKS!! The real show stealer for me on this visit was the gym... it's not your average dusty aged spa gym. This is a top spec gym with an absolute huge variety of equipment it's insane. The gym manager was really friendly and showed me around. If I am to visit again.... I will be spending more time in the gym ha!!!

Overall a good weekend such a beautiful hotel and had the potential to be amazing. Our rooms were ready early which was great and we headed straight to the spa. The sauna, steam and pool were all lovely but the hot tub had too much chlorine in and our eyes were stinging we couldn't stay in it. We heard other ladies telling the manager and he dismissed them saying it was regulation standard. Not good. The massage was incredible the ice cream after was a lovely treat. Dinner was average and the service was a bit slow. The sticky toffee pudding was more like a dry cake. Tenderstem broccoli was actually normal broccoli boiled to mush. Roast potatoes were boiled potatoes. Breakfast was delicious but the coffee machine didn't work. Overall it was a good weekend just little things that could have been better.

Out of this world! Definitely recommend. Clean big rooms, exceptional staff. The atmosphere is alive and the feel is a mixture of a haunted manner house crossed with a modern section. Definitely stay there again and again. Jess is an amazing member of staff and made us feel more than welcome on every visit. Keep up the great work!
