Unbeatable Location and Value in Brighton! Number 75 is a fantastic choice for anyone who wants to be right in the heart of Brighton! The location is truly the best—you step out the door and are immediately at the seafront, pier, and The Lanes. It made exploring the city so incredibly easy. The self check-in process was seamless and stress-free, which I really appreciated, allowing for a flexible arrival. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including the essential tea/coffee facilities and fast Wi-Fi. Yes, being in such a central, vibrant location means you get city noise, but that’s the trade-off for staying in the middle of all the action! If you're looking for prime access to the beach and all of Brighton's nightlife and attractions at a great price, this place is superb value for money. Highly recommend for a central, convenient, and fun stay!

I would leave 0 stars but that's not possible. I never do reviews....well rarely at least....but I cannot avoid this one. In my opinion, the worst place to stay. Had I realised how awful it would be, I would've booked one of the hotels down the road. Here's exactly why (I'll throw in some positives if I can think of them): - The showers are communal and DIDN'T HAVE LOCKS! I had to hold the door shut for the partner the entire time. - The showers were mouldy and couldn't remain at one temperature (either boiling or the coldest thing you've ever experienced.) I've owned an electric shower, and so I know how temperamental they can be, but this was a whole other level. - They charged me twice, then argued with me about it, so I had to spend a day contacting my bank to stop the second payment as the hotel refused to help me (or even to refuse to admit they'd charged me twice). ((If you want evidence, email me, im happy to show anyone)). - They will offer to service your room (spare towels, refilling the tea, etc.), but they won't do it. We requested it and they never came despite saying they would. We had to spend 6 nights with 1 towel, and then had to run out and buy stuff to refill the tea stuff (which to be honest isn't the worst thing ever, but it just shows how inconsistent their staff are.) - On the note of staff, you won't see any so don't bother looking. There is an 'emergency number' on a poster in the room, but this is for a security agency that has nothing to do with the actual hotel. - Our power went in our room. When we called the 'emergency number' they told us there's nothing they can do. So then we called the number provided on booking.com, bearing in mind this was 3pm on a Friday. It goes to an automated voicemail and no one will ever pick up. - There is 0 noise proofing. I could hear the conversations of the neighbouring rooms literally word for word, that's the ones next to, above and below us. From the back of the building I could hear the surrounding pub's music way too clearly. While the WiFi was very good and the location pretty central to Brighton which was nice, you can get a better room literally down the road. We were torn between the two and clearly chose the wrong one. With the worst customer service you'll experience, a hotel that's held together with sellotape and mould, unless you hate your very being, stay elsewhere. If only I could shake past me and say "money is everything, spend the extra £10 on a better room." I do hope this review helps and if the hotel reads this, you've got a lovely exterior. That's it. That's where it ends. Spend the money you've used on that exterior inside, get better staff, treat your customers better and please, for the love of god, soundproof your rooms.

The worst hotel I've ever seen.In advance 200+ pounds for a family room per night so dont tell me its sth cheap. Though it is quite near the beach, it is surrounded by bars, they shout and play music throughout the night. The rooms are also very dirty, all windows are muddy and full of spider web. The handrail on the balcony is broken. There is only an old fan and a kettle in the room. The carpet has many holes on it. Besides, the toilet is also terrible, I turn on the hotest and suffer freezing water for half an hour. One of the room don't even have a private toilet! Both separate doors in the public toilet is broken, so others can c u when ur having a shower! The owner also replies very slowly. He didn't provide complete inform until we required for hrs. And no other support like luggage reserve.

Rented the flat with terrace, description should be changed, it's a basement with small patio and food hanging over your head. You will have green bright emergency lights in your room ON while sleeping, not cool at all. Also the room is situated next to the kitchen and the smell was horrible. The self checking is not made easy and few guest struggled with it. Soo good luck with it!

I don’t normally write reviews, but this experience was so unacceptable I feel I have to warn others. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was falsely advertised and extremely poorly maintained. The bathroom was full of mould, the shower didn’t work, and the shower door wasn’t even properly attached. The so-called flat screen TV was outdated and definitely not what was pictured online. The whole room was filthy—dusty, dirty, and clearly not cleaned properly in a long time. The radiator was off the wall, and the fire alarm kept going off randomly, which was both frightening and unsafe. Water pressure was another huge issue. If one outlet (sink, toilet, or shower) was in use, the others would barely work. The bedding was ripped, and we were given a towel covered in black stains, which is unacceptable. The windows hadn’t been cleaned in years, and the whole room felt like a neglected mess. This was advertised as a decent place, but it was disgusting, unhygienic, and completely not worth the £162 we paid. I feel misled, disappointed, and frankly, I want my money back. Avoid at all costs.

Surprisingly decent room with a nice TV, though the bathrooms were a bit far from our room. We had to go downstairs, through a couple fire doors, then back upstairs to get to them. Beware that, due to there being no reception on site, you gotta check-in online and get your door codes off an email from the hotel. This was majorly inconvenient for us as we did not have phone service to access mobile data when we arrived so we had to find free WiFi somewhere else to access the email.

What a horrible and totally overpriced place! We checked in after 4pm - self check in-no problem. (that's probably the only positive) The floor in the room is not levelled-it falls from the window to the door- so even the bed is at an angle!!!!!! Unlucky for us- there must have been an elephant in the room above ours, walking up and down the room, which felt like the ceiling was about to fall on us any minute……so the floors/ceilings are a disaster. The shower didn’t work- the water was either super hot or freezing- a very basic electric shower unit , it was not possible to set it as the dials have only 3 settings….. In the very end the soap dispenser came of the wall when I tried to press it to wash my hands!!!! It broke off the wall and spilled all over the bathroom Seriously- a terrible experience so at 6pm we booked another hotel and left Number 75 with a super bitter experience! That old, dated, squeaky accommodation is definitely not worth the price- there is also no air condition so sticky as hell in the summer, there is nothing extra that could justify the price……I would definitely make sure to not stay or recommend the place to anyone in the future

When we first got to hotel we where surprised to see that there was no reception so it turned out to be quite a mission to get up all the codes and such that was needed for the doors. The room itself doesn't have a wardrobe, not the biggest problem but still inconvenient when there's 3 people with 3 days worth of clothes. Overall the room was gorgeous, we got to see a glimpse of the sea and was close to the pier and nice shops and food places. That was, until we tried to sleep, outside is 2 pubs and what I think is a cocktail bar, 2 of which don't close until 1am. So me and my family waited it out for the music and people to go home so we could sleep, but sadly, worst nights sleep of my life, single glazed windows so could hear all the drunk chants in the street, motorbikes, bin men coming qt 6am! And some random guy jet washing his wall at 7am. I am very disappointed for the amount we paid we expected to have a very q whole night's sleep in a quiet room. Single glazing is very dated and not sound proof at all, not to mention the condensation buildup on the windows which will surely lead to future mould.
