   I struggle to understand how some of the previous reviews for this store are true. The staff have always been absolutely amazing. Friendly and helpful, the store manager is a credit to Screwfix as a business and deserves the recognition for his excellent people skills and kindness. I understand some people are difficult to please, but I can't see how when this store has such a lovely team all round.

   Absolutely disgusting how they treat their staff and customers. Firstly, I am ashamed to say I've set foot in this establishment. I had this guy called Mike served me and he was giving me evils when I asked for my collection items and when I started small talking he completely disreguarded me and just told me the price and completed my transaction. After doing some research later, realised that was the manager. I don't know if this is normal behaviour but it definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. The shop is small and clean and provides great amounts of item choice for my home reworking and remodeling but I have seen how they treat their staff whilst looking through the catalogue (I know I shouldn't spy but I'm within earshot and it's not always a quiet conversation either). After hearing how some staff talk to the other staff about any personal crisis, it seems there is no adequate mental health considerations which has lead me to believe theres no trained mental health management on site. Everyone else who works there is lovely and the shops up to par but my experience with this one team member just shows me how bad the company really is, letting inadequate management in and not training their staff correctly.

   I have found Screwfix staff to be both knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. If you have a specific query, they take the time to answer and explain properly, to make sure you buy the right thing. Highly recommend.

   I went to Screwfix White Lodge Norwich today for a 4 way long extension lead. I’d tried online but without success. Mark was extremely helpful. I needed the lead today and he navigated the site until he found one. Unfortunately a lot of items were next day delivery but he kept on trying and I now have just what I need. Mark is a real credit to Screwfix and you’re lucky to have him.
