   I needed to move out of my previous home that was mould infested, and I viewed a place with Indigo properties around middle of November. Unfortunately, my agency insisted my contract required me to give 6 weeks notice. I was shattered because the apartment with indigo was just perfect and I didnt want to loose it. I explained to indigo, Sydney and Brioney were very helpful and reassuring me to keep fingers crossed. Long story short, I ended up moving into the house in January. I love their patience and understanding all through . More importantly, their response to maintenance issues after we moved is always prompt and they are keen about the comfort of tenants.

   My experience with Indigo Lettings was excellent, and I truly appreciated the support I received from the team throughout my tenancy. I dealt with Sydney and Briony, who were both very kind and professional. They were always responsive, patient, and extremely helpful whenever I needed assistance. I also liked that maintenance checks were carried out mid-tenancy to ensure everything was working properly, and all of this was communicated and arranged in advance with proper notice. Everything was handled in a professional and caring manner. Highly recommended!

   I moved down to East Sussex from London in 2017, I struggled to find decent value and a good service from my landlords. In late 2017 I found Indigo, from the first moment I made contact on the phone, everyone in there lettings department put me at ease and if you have any worries or reservations in renting property, they are very thorough with there approach. Over the last 2 years having rented 2 different properties with Indigo, I can honestly say there customer service is second to none. Every time I have a query on my property or the main building no matter how small or how big they always respond within 24hrs and aim to rectify any issue within the following days. Anytime there has been something that is not working or faulty they have sent somebody round within 48-72 hours to either fix to the highest standard or fully replace with new parts. Never have I had a Landlord who is so understanding and really does want their Tenants to be able to a problem free living environment... which is very hard to find! The most satisfying thing of being a Tenant of Indigo is everyone who works from them, everyone from the Lettings department, Finance Department, Maintenance to the Landlord himself they are all lovely people. Please do not hesitate to rent with Indigo as they are a great company with great people who will always go the extra mile if you need them to!

   DO NOT RENT FROM INDIGO. I rented a student property from Indigo Lettings in Brighton. The property was disgusting, the kitchen was tiny, not even big enough for one person, the living room was in a greenhouse attachment and too hot to sit in the summer, too cold in winter. The roof of the living room leaked, my bedroom was absolutely minuscule, yet they expected £507 per person per month, not even including bills. The house was in a terrible location, atop a GIANT hill, miles from anywhere, with only 1 bus service heading there. Other issues included, the hot water in the shower would sporadically turn on and off, the taps in the kitchen were too stiff to turn off, and the mattress of my bed was completely broken, you sank into the middle of it every time you lay in it. The bathroom ceiling was covered in mould too, and the bathroom was so small you could barely close the door behind you. The final straw for me was, when moving out they added charges to keep from my deposit that weren't even real. They charged me £20 for not returning the keys, and when I emailed them they said that they didn't see the keys therefore couldn't return my deposit. They also tried to charge me for a missing bedroom bin, there was no bin in the room when I moved in, which I'm sure they are fully aware of. I'm a student, I cannot afford to be ripped off by terrible people who simply do not care.
