Perfect for my rental property. Went together very easily and it was delivered the next day as stated. Didn’t get a time slot for the delivery which is definitely something that could be improved upon but overall the experience was faultless with a great product for an even better price!
It's not surprising this company has so many poor reviews. I'm appalled at the quality of their furniture and customer service. I bought a flat pack chest of drawers from Own Furniture and they're unusable, despite being built correctly. I've had to buy another set from a different company. The drawers don't sit straight; they don't close or open properly, and fall out whenever they're even slightly opened. They're easily the poorest quality item I've ever bought. I'm very disappointed. I've been in contact with the customer service team several times to request a collection and refund. After sending about 50 photos and videos (no exaggeration), the company finally agreed to collect the drawers. However, they asked me to disassemble them first (?) and have it boxed in order to do so (in a box – I obviously haven't kept the box). I don't understand why they couldn't collect it built. Now it's completely useless as, surprise surprise, it fell to pieces during disassembly. It feels like they've just been really difficult the entire time, so I've had to open a claim with my bank. I'll likely now have to pay a professional to remove the disassembled drawers, so it's cost me more money. This company is a complete scam. AVOID. I'm still waiting for a solution more than 2 months on because they've been so back and forth with everything, when they could've just agreed to refund me for the faulty item and collect it fully assembled.
We bought a chest of drawers that looked really nice in the photos. It ended up being an awful bit of cheap furniture that is overpriced. It went together badly with poor instructions. This ended with a drawer that wasn’t even able to work. When my girlfriend contacted customer services, she was mansplained and insulted and the company provided no actionable advice.
Damaged items. Customer service won’t do anything. Got offered £15 goodwill gesture which isn’t even 10% of the cost when 2 pieces of furniture are covered it marks/damaged. As I didn’t accept this they asked if I’d accept the parts instead. After listing the parts I needed they then changed their mind. Said I’d need to unassemble, package back in the ORIGINAL boxes and they would arrange to collect them. 2 weeks later than when I sent the 15+ images of all the damage like I’d just leave 2 huge boxes laying around. Honestly a complete joke. Order from elsewhere unless you’re 100% certain you’re getting a perfect item because their customer service is lacking.
I found this company online having not heard from them before, and ordered a wardrobe. The customer service team were excellent - they kept me updated on the progress of my order, and when there was an issue with delay in delivery, they immediately worked on solving the issues, keeping me updated throughout. Best in class customer service, handled very well and would definitely order again.
Great customer service. Ordered a Zarah open wardrobe but once piece came damaged. Quick email to customer service and the new part arrived 2 days later. Product is great too. Highly recommended. Thank you to Chloe for assisting.
I'm a big heavy guy, I called Tyler and explained to him my current soft mattress was not up to the job of supporting my dense frame. He gave me a recommendation and a price I couldn't refuse. Delivery was exactly when quoted it was completed by Alex who was polite and helpful. I have recommended this company to family, friends and work colleagues.
