   I used this garage for a car service. It’s in a neighbouring village and is very convenient choice and it meant we got to support a local business. The work (as far as I can tell) has been carried out professionally and have no complaints. They failed to carry out some work (1 part of the service and 1 additional request) for very legitimate reasons, so have no complaints there either. The issue I had was that I appeared to be hindrance for the proprietor from the outset and I don’t really no why. He seemed to be frustrated and was abrupt and unpleasant on the phone about his reasons for not wanting to do the additional work. As said previously, I feel his reasons were absolutely legitimate and I accepted them completely, but the delivery very much took me aback. I’m not sure I could have been more amiable to this chap throughout our communications but it still felt like I’d wronged him in some way. I’m not sure why he had this approach, perhaps he was having a bad day or perhaps that’s just his general demeanour. Either way, it left me feeling like I would have rather have given my money to another local business.

   Avoid here at all costs. Went here for a service because i was worried about my engine, oil was changed by them. One week later my car broke down and the engine no longer works. Have had mutliple people view the car to see whats wrong with the engine and was informed the wrong oil was used and therefore the oil cylinder is damaged and now my car requires a new engine. They were the only one to touch/ change the oil. Would rate it 0 stars if i could.

   Fantastic friendly service. I have used this garage for many years now, Jon and his team always go above and beyond to ensure high customer satisfaction. Never had any problems with this garage. Booking in is always easy and all work completed is always to a very high standard.

   Brought my car in to be looked at as there was a possible problem with the steering. The garage is local and not my usual garage that services my car. I was told to drop it off first thing. 09:00 the car was handed over. I was then told to call back in a couple of hours. I did this and was told it hadn't been looked at. Called back at 16:30, my car apparently had just got on the ramp and told to call back. I called a third time at 17:00. The mechanic said nothing was found underneath to cause concern. Next day I took it to another garage and within minutes they had found two rear lower shock absorber bushes had failed. The mechanic told me that you could not of have missed those bushes. I would avoid this garage by all means.
