Great Sunday roast. Best I’ve had in a while, plus they have the option of pigs in blanket. Will definitely be back

We stopped in for Sunday lunch today. Don’t be fooled, the place looks unassuming but it packs a punch! We had the pork belly, the beef and the kids had pizza. Utterly delicious. First off you can order yorkies as a side AND a pot of gravy. I am always wanting more of both. Secondly the meat was cooked perfectly there was a great selection of veggies and the roast pots were yum. The portions were just right as well and we were able to sit for a moment and relax whilst the kids went into the playground. The staff were also brilliant, so friendly and helpful. Thank you The Ketch, you made our Sunday!

Found this place by accident. What a pleasant surprise. Lovely little find will be driving an hour to get lunch as the food was that good. Thankyou for good service, nice food and a clean drink.

From entering to leaving the service was excellent. The staff were so caring and asked if the table was ok, and if we were warm enough, the fire was blazing and they'd given us a table adjacent to the radiator. Food clearly freshly prepared and huge portions. The Gyros Chicken would easily have served 2. My mum had the soft shell crab and prawns, which were huge. My dad had the steak pie which he thoroughly enjoyed. The cheese pie I feel would have benefited from a stronger cheese, but that's personal taste and I do like a very strong cheese. All in all we will definitely return and recommend The Ketch very highly. Again the service was fantastic, well done.

Vegan birthday meal with family, lovely food, our dog came with us and enjoyed the treats. Pudding delish too. Birthday girl had candle in her dessert and wasn't charged for this. Service great and did not feel rushed. Thank you.

Been here twice now for a late lunch after walking in the peaks. It has been pretty quiet at these times, I assume it gets busier in the evening. The ketch is extremely dog friendly, offering water, toys and even treats for the dogs! The food is very good overall, particularly like the moules. I have had scampi also and found this a little too greasy. Great menu, lots of different choice offering seafood, pizza, gyros or classic pub meals. Will definitely return again!
