   I had a very disappointing experience with this garage. At the beginning of December I took my car in for a repair, and when I returned to discuss the situation, I was told that the vehicle was already finished and that the final amount was higher than what we had originally discussed, because additional parts had supposedly been replaced. I was also told that the car would not be returned to me until the full amount was paid, which I perceived as unjustified pressure. After collecting the car, it broke down again after only 2–3 days while I was on the road. I contacted the garage, and on three separate occasions I was promised that a recovery truck would be sent within 2–4 hours. Each time I waited in the location they instructed me to stay, but after the time passed, I received no further communication. Eventually, my number was blocked and it became impossible to reach them. I had to leave the car on the roadside and walk home, which affected my health. Following this experience, I began to have concerns about the quality of the repair. The fact that the car failed so soon afterwards made me suspect that the work may have been carried out in a rush and that some components might have been reassembled incorrectly. The difference between the initial price discussed and the final amount requested, without a clear explanation, also raises questions about the parts used. I cannot exclude the possibility that some parts may have been second‑hand or reconditioned, even though I was charged for new ones. This experience highlighted a lack of transparency, a lack of professionalism, and repeated promises that were not kept. I recommend caution to anyone considering using this garage.

   I will be honest and tell everyone to avoid this garage. This garage damaged my van worse then it was before, charged me for brand new parts and fixed the van with second hand parts, and also I heard from other people that used this garage, that they steal brand new or good parts from cars and replace them with used. I changed my right drive shaft to my van with all pieces and after not more then 4k miles the drive shaft was gone. I bought brand new tyres on my van after the drive shaft was changed and after I left the garage, next day on motorway the steering wheel was shaking because they didn’t align the wheels. I also asked them to do the tracking or wheel alignment. But anyway, when you change a drive shaft you have to do it. I spent £900 on this and the owner asked me to pay in cash. I asked to prove me an invoice and he always avoided to send it (even now, I don’t have an invoice for that job). I also asked for a full service oil (all filters, engine oil). Not just for once, for few times before as well. In time the tyres started to worn inside and caused more problems. I changed few pairs of tyres and all of them ended the same after 1 or two week of use. Because the steering wheel was shaking, caused many problems as well. After a while my van was getting more damage (slowly slowly, a new problem came up to be fixed, and all on the wheels and parts from suspension, drive shaft, steering wheel, brakes etc). I want to mention that before taking my van to this garage I didn’t have problems with anything. I decided to take my van to a different garage to check all the problems and in the end I have to change all the front suspension after what this Simon’s garage did in my van. Also caused more problems on gearbox and clutch as well. When the new garage checked my van I found that my service hasn’t been changed in the last 12 months, diesel filter hasn’t been changed as well, drive shafts must be change (they also said that drive shaft changed at Simon’s garage wasn’t brand new, was a second hand one “but I was charged for brand new). I asked if course the owner of this garage about all this problems and he tried to make me think that he didn’t do anything wrong. I asked him about the oil service (what does it mean a full oil service to a car? He said that when you do a full service is not necessarily to change all the filters and oil, just what needs to change, but of course he charged me for a full service oil. I will attach pictures with conversation. I will attach some pictures too show you how I fund the engine, filters and drive shafts after only 4k miles change at Simon’s Garage

   Just had an overheating problem on my Mondeo sorted here. First garage said the head gasket had blown. Nonsense. Turned out to be a small rubber belt that turns the water pump. Good work done. Even found a perished vac pipe and repaired that as well. Not only does the engine run cool now but much smoother

   Went to Simons Garage to get a second opinion for my loss of power, first place told me I need a new Turbo for my car that’s why I’m loosing power but the quote was extremely high so was thinking lets check other garage to see if I can get lower price for New Turbo after went to Simon explained him what I was told by previous garage he told me lets first do a diagnostic and then will see from there . After doing a full diagnostic he found out that there’s no problem with the Turbo but one of the pipes from inter cooler is split so I’m loosing pressure what causes power loss, booked my car for next day despite the fact that they were extremely busy. Changed the pipe and it cost me 10% of what I would pay in other garage for turbo … can’t thank them enough! Top man!
