   I ordered a wheelbarrow on click and collect and 15 mins later it was ready. When I got to the store and given the wheelbarrow it was handed a box. I was vocally surprised as I've only known them to come fully assembled. My slight disappointment was noted by the staff and who I believe was the manager asked one of the staff to put it together for me. A gesture they didn't have to make. I was very humbled by their level of customer service. The guy took the box into the back and 20 mins later was a fully assembled wheelbarrow. He even wheeled it to my car and put it in my boot for me. I'm absolutely over the moon. I can't believe what wonderful team they are. They really went above and beyond for me. I thanked them to which the manager responded "if we can do that little bit extra to make a customer happy why wouldn't we". A true wonder, the lot of them. Thanks again!

   The local staff were very helpful, as was the lady on the helpline, but the company's central services wasted hours of my time. At the beginning, phoning the store put me in queue stated to be 19 minutes. So I walked there instead. Once there, no REAL queue and I was helped to order an Einhell angle grinder and powerpack/charger set. It duly arrived home the next day. I opened it and found it was a non-UK spec: continental plug and instruction manual in several language s, but not English. 45 minutes later after another call to the central number, where the agent also had to queue to speak to her supervisor, a replacement was ordered to arrive at the store the next day, Saturday. ✔ ? It didn't arrive, I went back on Monday, opened the box there and then. Same again! So, it being by then 5 minutes before closing, I took a charger and powerpack from Toolstation stock, ordered a bare grinder click and collect from Wickes, and got it yesterday. 6 days after ordering, I'm in business. Thank goodness rain stopped build at the weekend, or I'd have been mighty cross. You couldn't make up service this bad! Irony is, the kind manager of Wickes recommended me to go there in the first place, as he only had the bare grinder! 10/10 Thomas at Wickes Letchworth Garden City, 10/10 Toolstation Letchworth staff and helpline lady, 0/10 Toolstation automated services!
