   Absolutely loved our stay at Jacob Cottage. Lara is such a gem and made our stay perfect. The location is ideal for exploring all the nearby beaches and the cottage is decorated with so much thought. The wood burner was ideal for a February weekend. Would love to return to enjoy the garden in the summer!

   Jacob Cottage is one of our favourite get away escapes. It is PERFECT in every way. We have stayed here 3 times now and will be back again for many more long weekends. We love exploring the local area by day and using the outdoor kitchen and spending time in the garden in the evenings. We've also enjoyed some cosy evenings by the fire when it's been a bit rainy or chilly too. Lara and Jeff are fantastic hosts. They have created a little sanctuary and thought of ALL the tiny details. Jacob Cottage is truly a special place and we have recommended it to lots of friends and family. We can't wait to book our next trip!

   This hidden treasure was an absolute dream. We booked for a long weekend as we had a wedding in the area. The cottage was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and the outdoor kitchen felt like we were tucked away in the forest. The hosts were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make us feel at home. Also, the complimentary homemade granola - to die for. This place is a must if you are visiting the Southgate area, I could not recommend it enough
