Came here for dinner one evening with a friend, was really impressed with the food!! Although it was super busy and understaffed due to illness, our waiter (he was a student from South America but we can’t remember his name!) was just fabulous! Really trying his best to serve what seemed like the whole restaurant and a few children’s parties too! I’d love to come back one day when it’s fully staffed and running to get the true Zizi experience!

The food was delicious. From an appetizer, to the main, to dessert, to drinks. Everything was phenomenal and filling. Highly recommend!

I’ve been here twice in a row and the food here is absolutely delicious! The duck, sea bass, and potatoes were incredibly tasty! Highly recommended. My server, Yassire was super friendly and attentive.

Stopped in for lunch during our visit in Southampton. The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The portions are good size. The food was hot and tasty with fresh ingredients. The desserts are presented beautifully. They are also very courteous and do a great job for anyone with allergies or dietary restrictions. It's definitely worth visiting if you are in Southampton. Thank you to the staff for a great experience

I went to dinner last night (Saturday 18th February), the place was absolutely packed, including a large party having a 30th birthday celebration. It was obvious that the staff and kitchen were flat out trying to see to everyone which meant we were a little late getting our table (understandably all things considered). However the lady waiting on our table was absolutely lovely and a young man called Amos ( I believe the manager) went above and beyond in trying to make our evening out as perfect as they could. Thank you Amos and staff, you are all doing a brilliant job x

Went to zizzi’s for a nice valentines meal, the food was great, had a wide range of options for Gluten Free as my girlfriend is a coeliac. Service was great at the start, meal was with us within 10-15 minutes. When we had finished our meal, the server straight away came over to us, cleared our plates which we didn’t mind and then got us our bill without us asking for it. Which to both of us seemed like we was being rushed out. I know it’s Valentine’s and it’s busy however we felt like we was forced out quickly. Was never offered another drink either so we had our whole meal without a drink. However I would definitely go back.

Came on a Saturday evening and whilst it was extremely busy (literally not 1 empty table) the service and food were still great, irrespective of this. Staff were lovely despite the restaurant being at full capacity and asked us about any allergies/intolerances which is a thoughtful touch. Food is good value for money in terms of portion sizes, compared to other Italian chain restaurants. First visit to Zizzi and would definitely return! Edit - came back to Southampton again and opted for Zizzi again due to having a good experience before - again, the staff were lovely and food amazing. Great branch :)

Food looked amazing but tasted lack lustre. The calzone was more like a pasty than an Italian folded pizza, the mushroom garlic bread was mostly bread with a little topping in the middle and the zillionaire fudge cake was stodgy, probably defrosted and served. Service from the lady there was top notch but not so good from the male server, often ignoring us. If improvements were made to the food it would be a top notch restaurant.

Amazing, had the best meal here! Everyone I spoke to asked about food allergies and knew their stuff, had a supplemental folder for dietary info which was useful. They made a pizza with vegan cheese and it was delicious, we also got the sweet potato fries with salsa (super rich tomato) and little bread with oil and balsamic vinegar, which leads me to the next point; the balsamic vinegar was INCREDIBLE, thick and goopy but poured well, sweet with a tangy kick. I wanted to take the bottle home with me but that wouldn't be cool, so, I guess I'll have to go back!
