Visited for the first time in December. They had a festive set menu, I think 2 courses £39 or 3 courses for £45 from memory as well as some daily specials. Food and service was good, but the portions were quite small. Not much of an atmosphere but it was a quiet Wednesday night before Christmas.
Been here so many times, one of my favourites in Aberdeen. Food is delicious, staff friendly. Restaurant is very cute love all the fishy decorations. Highly recommend coming here.
This place is perfection. Beautiful from the outside, amazing food and utmost kind service on the inside. Spent both of our two nights in Aberdeen here - still craving their traditional Scottish cullen skink soup and red tuna with spicy sauce & noodles!
Great food made with love and served in a cozy and warm place. Special thanks to the staff who accommodated our super late arrival and waited for us to order our food and eat it. Amazing service with kindness and professionalism. Loved this place and will definitely come back when in Aberdeen!
Finally got a chance to try this fab spot don't miss out! I entered the restaurant greeted by smiles and was seated promptly. The decor is really cool and works very well with the theme of the place. My friends were running late but the servers made sure to continuously ask me for drinks and were very friendly and welcoming. We had the Oysters, Cullen Skink, Seafood and Shellfish Linguine and Pan Seared Sea Bass. My personal favourite was the Cullen Skink it makes u feel right at home and the flavours were just mind blowing. The portion size was also very generous leaves you feeling full. We had the lunch menu which allowed us 2 courses for £22.95 which is a real steal for the fresh food and great service you receive. The food was a whole new experience for me having never really tried seafood but I will definitely be back after this experience.
Lovely little place, amazing seafood and the staff are lovely. The only reason I didn't put the 5 stars was that I was so disappointed they don't serve lobster. When you Google lobster bistro Verde comes up, so we were looking forward to it and then a little disappointed. I can't fault the food we had though.
Terrible experience, not recommend to come again. Their tiger prawn as tiny as a normal shrimp which is unacceptable, the steak is a bit burn but the taste is fine with the pepper corn sauce.
I used to rave about Bistro Verde but was left sorely disappointed by our latest visit. £16 for three tiny scallops with crumbs of black pudding was frankly shocking. The catch of the day portion at £25 was equally tiny. Still hungry when I left. Total bill came to £130 for 2 people with 2 G&Ts and 2 glasses of wine and a 10% service charge added. My partner was happy with her surf & turf but at £39, I would hope so.
Had an excellent dinner at Bistro Verde last night. It’s a great, vibrant restaurant with a good menu and pleasant & helpful staff. I had the scallops to start; they were perfectly cooked and tasted great. Followed by the venison which was spot on. My wife had couscous cakes to start and vegetable tart tatin and said both were excellent. Definitely recommend this restaurant, and will certainly be back.
By pure chance we stopped in on the first Wednesday-night-tapas-takeover and it was fantastic. The patatas bravas were the star of the show, crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. The marinated olives are a great dish to nibble on throughout the meal but each dish we had was brilliant. We had garlic prawns and calamari too and they were great. Three dishes for fifteen quid is good value for money, eat here on Wednesday and you won't be disappointed.
