Very good Sunday roast, pigs in blankets are a must, comes in a large bowl good for sharing! Also had my niece with us and they really made her happy with a Christmas present, much better than it was years ago I was sceptical when coming here but it's really turned a corner
We had the best roast we’ve had out in a long time we were genuinely pleasantly surprised by how good it was. We visited on a Sunday when it was fairly busy, but we were seated promptly, and the service was excellent. Our server, Rosie S/F (apologies, I can’t quite remember the full name!), was an absolute delight friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The roast dinners were served hot, and both the lamb and beef were cooked to perfection. The Yorkshire pudding was just right crispy on the outside, soft in the middle and it all came with just the right amount of gravy. We also liked that they brought out the sides of vegetables separately a nice touch that made it feel that bit more special. We’ll definitely be back!

Such a great place for food - we stumbled upon it by accident in the summer and have been several times. There is a lovely lake to walk round with the dogs and then pop in for a drink or food (dog friendly). We had a Sunday roast and the food came out quickly and piping hot. Would absolutely recommend, good food and good value for money
Very welcoming and attentive staff. Good service, nice food. We enjoyed our starter and beef burger with extra cheese.
The staff and food was fantastic and Georgia who served us was wonderful. I had the peri peri prawns for starters, the sirloin steak medium rare and sticky toffee pudding with custard. It was my first time eating at this restaurant/ pub and the food was delicious. Also the rest of the staff were fantastic too. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Surprisingly decent Sunday roast. They don't allow dogs into their dining area surprisingly for a neighbourhood pub, but they're allowed in the bar - so we sat at a high table with our pub and a baby in a pram. Note: there's minimal bar seating in case you do come with your 4 legged child.
We went there for Sunday lunch and will definitely return. The service was not rushed, so we spent around 2 hours there for a 3 course meal. The food was plentiful without skimping on quality and the atmosphere was welcoming and cosy.
Went here for fathers day lunch and really enjoyed the food was really good portion sizes and the food tasted great. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Will come back soon
