I've been coming here for years monthly and the lady never remembers me. Her mood is up and down and reflects on service. Sometimes she comes and tells you off for using more than one plate and she went back to make my mango lassi and intentionally didn't put any sugar and the tiniest bit of mango as she was annoyed that I took more than one plate. Meanwhile a group of 30 people were sat in the front of the restaurant conversation loudly. They were not customers but mattered more. There was no resolution offered about the lassi so will take my £300 spent every year here elsewhere. Thank you

I had a wonderful experience at Everest Tandoori in Reading! The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. I definitely recommend Everest Tandoori to anyone looking for tasty food and a nice dining atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Lovely restaurant and very friendly staff, nice warm welcome. The food served was absolutely delicious and plentiful! Lamb dish was beautifully cooked, tender and nicely spiced. However be careful on slightly hot (turns out its very hot). Drink selection is also very good. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food there. Would highly recommend!

Very good food and unlike other establishments where the staff are going through the motions and friendliness seems scripted the service here is genuinely friendly and attentive. Whenever I have friends visiting Reading, I always recommend to them that we go to the Everest. Atmosphere is nice and chilled out as well. Keep up the good work Everest!

Got takeaway and the food is good, but the disregard for basic food hygiene is concerning. This is how they deliver poppadoms via your delivery driver. No wrapping or protection during transit.

Everest Tandoori is a GREAT place for Nepalese food. The staff are friendly, the food is lovely and prices are reasonable. For your first time definitely try the momos with sauce.

This is the second time I came in with my family, and I felt so uncomfortable with the members of the stuff watching over us eating. And the customer service from the woman is not good. They cleared our table so quickly, my son still had his food on the table, and he felt he did not want to finish his food. I definitely won't be coming back. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I have always loved and kept coming back for more takeaways from Everest Tandoori. Their food is tasty, rightly spiced and the quality of the meat is very good. I can definitely recommend!

We travel across Reading just to eat at this restaurant. The food and service are always excellent. The Sunday night buffet has a good choice of dishes and kept stocked. The evening meals provide a good variety of traditional dishes and Nepali favourites. We are regulars and I recognise others which means this restaurant keeps its business.

Very welcoming, great service, very friendly and respectful, delicious food and good choice of food and drinks including cobra alcohol free if you don't drink alcohol. Always enjoy the experience when I go and never anything to complain about.
