Ordered takeaway. Awful. We ordered nachos- they were soggy and cold (see photo). The "mini Yorkshire with pulled pork" were not as pictured. And not mini. They were regular Yorkshires. I think they've just created another menu item using cooked ingredients from another. See photo- not appetising at all. The corn on the cob also not as pictured. Soggy and cold. Awful Awful.

Great food, lovely staff & atmosphere. Never had a bad meal /service since the latest people took over. Highly recommend a visit.

Food was okay. Gammon chewy. Sticky toffee pudding wasn't hot and not great quality. Sticky tables and floors. Fish and chips and Hunters chicken okay. Desserts okay. Average overall but food was edible and enjoyable for two out of our party of three. Had 25 precent off to celebrate half year birthday and was celebrating father's birthday.

Toilets need a refurbishment. Waiting close to 1 hour for the food. Good food. Parking available.

Chronically understaffed. The food was very late in arriving and the chips were lukewarm, and the chicken was over cooked. The cheese and bun were both burnt. Only consolation was I got two of them despite only paying for one. Venue was quiet, and quite cold. Few staff kept apologising. No fish available there for weeks now - way overdue to be fixed. I’ve been going here many years but our patronage will be reducing which is a shame is it is my local.

Apart from some of the staff not really caring about customer service and the cooks giving me chicken wings that were still completely frozen inside… I have to say this was a place that I will…not be going to again. I’ve been seeing it decline in standards for a while now, but thought it would get better at some point. Spoiler- It hasn’t, and I think the frozen chicken wings and ending up with food poisoning was the last straw. As I am vomiting my soul to the Lord I must admit, the only helpful person was the manager, who offered a new batch of wings. That was great, but the damage has been done to my intestines.

I really wanted to like this place.. the menu looked great (though more than half of it was unavailable), and the food was amazing! But the service was incredibly poor. We had 4 children under the age of 5 with us, at every restaurant I've ever been to they've always served the children first, and then the adults. Not this place! They served the adults first, and did not bring the kids meals until 15 minutes later. They expected 4 young children to just sit there and watch us eat, and it just made the whole thing very uncomfortable as we then had to deal with meltdowns due to hunger and impatience, and we ended up giving the kids our own meals to tide them over. Then we received our desserts, AGAIN, the kids had to wait 10/15 minutes for there's while the adults were served first, so we had to share, again.. and they forgot about 4 of the desserts, which we had to wait another 30 minutes for! This was my daughters 4th birthday celebration, and to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. They did not even wish her a happy birthday despite me writing it in the special requests when booking our table. It's safe to say we will not be returning.

The quality of the food was quite good. The pub was quiet when we entered. They have a online system to order food. The staff was also friendly. However, the food took approximately 40 minutes to be delivered and the dessert took another 20 minutes. This could be improved. Fair service overall

Starters massively varied in size, mine was delicious, calamari. My partner and he grand parents had the same 1 was hughe and the other 2 were tiny, garlic mushrooms. The mains were nice as a whole except mine unfortunately. We did have to wait over an hour between courses which was frustrating. The bar service was good and the staff seemed to be at tentative. My main pictured was a bit sad and sorry looking, vegan lasagne, but tasted better than it looked!
