We very much enjoyed our Sunday lunch at Ye Olde Leathern Bottel. The Sunday roasts were delicious and the service was excellent (a big thank you to Julia!). We look forward to visiting again soon.

3 of us went for an early evening meal, the staff were all extremely friendly and efficient. We had a sharing cheese platter to start, followed by Toad in the hole, fish & chips and a steak burger. Good selection of non alcoholic drinks for any drivers. We all agreed the food was excellent and we look forward to coming back. Highly recommend this establishment.

We had a wonderful time at Ye Olde Leathern Bottle, made all the more special thanks to Alyssa’s excellent service. From the moment we walked in, she made us feel completely at home with her warm and friendly manner. She struck the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space to relax, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. It’s rare to come across someone who makes you feel so genuinely welcome—Alyssa’s kindness and professionalism really stood out. She helped create such a cosy, homely atmosphere that we didn’t want to leave. A real credit to the team. We’ll definitely be back!

Visited Ye Olde Leathern Bottle and had such a lovely experience. The pub itself has a warm, traditional feel with a really welcoming atmosphere, but what made our visit stand out was the excellent service from Alyssa. She was friendly, attentive and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to come across someone who balances efficiency with such a positive attitude, but Alyssa did exactly that. Her recommendations were spot on and she made us feel completely looked after from start to finish. Great food, cosy vibes, and outstanding service—especially thanks to Alyssa. We’ll definitely be back!

Service was okay staff seemed very miserable. Food was generally alright but not worth what was charged had to send back two sausages as they were so burned a chainsaw wouldn’t be able to cut through them and potato’s were not cooked.

Had a great dinner here with family, and quite cheap considering we got mains and desserts for 9 people. I would recommend the Sirloin Steak. A lovely atmosphere and easy to book or just turn up. There is a restaurant arra for families and a bar area for adults, and it's really a lovely place.

Well worth a visit if you are in the area. The staff are friendly and the pub is well furnished and has a great cosy atmosphere. Food is good, I had confit duck and my partner had beef cheeks. The service was superb, very attentive. Thanks for looking after us so well Hannah. We will definitely be back again soon.

A great place to go whether it's for a quick drink with your partner or a meal with the family. Will definitely be going back. The Sunday 3 meat roast was amazing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming too

I ate here a few months ago and had an issue with the food, so this was followed by a negative review. They encouraged me back and I returned for another meal - the second meal was very good. I have still knocked a star off for the first visit, but the last visit was 5 star. Hopefully the next visit will be another 5 stars
