   Lovely pub tucked away that is dog friendly. It was a little chilly temperature wise however the service definitely made up for that as well as the generous food portions. Very good value, we had a main and a dessert. You can choose whether you want to leave a tip which is something you don't get everywhere. Nice atmosphere and somewhere you'd feel comfortable visiting after or before a walk, on your own or with others of any age. I'd recommend visiting.

   We stopped off here as we were passing through. It’s a cozy looking pub and clean. The staff are really friendly and we were greeted straight away when arriving. The place was completely deserted when we arrived (around 14:30 on a Wednesday) and only a couple came in after us. We were seated and served straight away but be prepared for a wait for food as it’s cooked to order(I’ve seen others complain about the wait time but it’s expected). We had the Lamb Kofta from the specials board, this was quite tasty but it didn’t taste too much like lamb and the fries were rock solid. We also had the ‘Big N Bold’ burger. This was bland and needed some sort of sauce as the patty was dry. Oh and they are dog friendly. There’s adequate free parking and children are welcome.

   This place has changed so much within the last year or 2. The food is amazing - top quality especially for a local pub. Will definitely be visiting again soon. Thank you to all of the staff who are professional, polite and efficient.

   Popped in on the way back from the Garden Centre. Happy to have a table without booking, but was early at 12pm. Pleasant staff and great food choice, opted for the Sunday Roast in the end and it did not disappoint. All very quick service- in and out within 50 mins! Only downside was the large party of people dining at the same time who didn't have volume control- but that's hardly the fault of the establishment. Will be back.

   I visited this place a while ago and was very impressed with the place. Both the style and cleanliness. A large interior with mixed seating and a separate dining area. Outside seating also with parasols next to a large car park. Slightly off the beaten track but well worth the visit. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. I have no qualms about giving this venue the stars I have awarded. I’m not sure why there are some negative reviews? But, there are plenty of positive ones.
