Best gluten free Chinese ever. My family eat gluten and they say this is the nicest Chinese take away they have ever had. Even better for me I can eat majority of it. I was apprehensive at first as it’s not marked anywhere on the menu but if you call up they explain they can do anything but the duck and beef dishes.
What is this? We ordered because the reviews on deliveroo were 4.6... and our favourite chinese was closed. Granted delivery was within 30minutes of opening but the chicken curry was globular... Chicken balls mixed in sauce when its usually seperate which ruined it for hubby.. chicken satay had no flavour or remnants of satay.. and the duck wasn't great either :/ really dissappointed. We were looking forward to a chinese all week and the price does not reflect the quality here. Never again.
Takeaway review- They were really quick and reasonably priced. But….the food was either very sweet and lot duller/bland in taste than you expect from a Chinese The satay sauce….my god. I never slate food restaurants like this but this was obviously made from some sort of gravy granule deal and the only thing I could compare it to would be custard, seriously. Insanely sweet and congealed. Everything else as I say was a little underwhelming but no real big problems. I could not however eat that satay sauce
Easy to book online and delivery on time. Nice golden crispy pancake rolls and chicken balls. Nice chips , and chicken chow mein..bought a bbq sauce to add. Curry nice but too much onion for me. Free little spring rolls that were crispy and nice tasting.
My go-to for a Chinese takeaway, the staff are really helpful on the phone and just very friendly in general. The menu is extensive and has lots of options, of which anything I have ever tried has never failed to hit the mark. They also give us free spring rolls sometimes when we make a big order which is so nice of them. Portion sizes are good too, I usually end up with leftovers for the next day. Highly recommend the salt and chilli chips (isn't listed on the website but they'll make it if you ask them to). Eating from here always makes my day :)
Piping hot and delicious food, specially the chips and great service! Be aware that this is a cash only business if you visit in person, but online ordering for collection or delivery is super straightforward.
Lovely food! Ordered via website (be advised: Card can NOT be used at the shop so you need to pay in advance). Staff were very understanding & helpful. Highly recommended!
ok food place doesn't accept card but can pay via a PR code food was OK nothing special but just ok
Tasty food, rapid delivery. My new favourite takeaway. My cat is also a fan of any leftover duck.
RBS were tough and did not taste of bbq sauce! All meat was tough and flavours were bland.
