   Myself and my partner went to the Old Bell for a birthday meal. We just wanted to thank the staff for being so friendly, polite and kind. I ordered the Sirloin steak and it was cook exactly the way I wanted it and that was medium rare and my partner had the steak and ale pie with mash. Our meal was delicious. Thank you to the chefs and to top our meal off we shared the salted caramel sundae with was amazing. Thank you for a lovely experience and again the hospitality of the Old Bell was exceptional.

   The roast was quite average, and served lukewarm. There was no tenderstem broccoli, it was normal broccoli, and there was the tiniest piece of carrot and parsnip on each plate. I had the banana caramel waffle for dessert and unfortunately everything tasted like it had been in the freezer for too long. Finally, I felt like the service could have been better, the waiting staff came over too soon after leaving the menus each time, when we hadn't even had time to read them. Overall it wasn't terrible but there was quite a bit that could improve.

   We held a family wake here and it was genuinely lovely. The staff were excellent and so friendly, the drink selection is great - diverse and well priced. The food options are also fantastic and the buffet spread we had was delicious. Would absolutely visit again.

   Had crispy squid to start, perfectly executed. Mixed grill for main, and I must say the meat was of great quality, and everything was cooked to perfection. I dislike tomatoes and I ate the vine tomatoes and to my shock were so sweet and tender. Absolutely fab place, staff were attentive and professional. Overall a great team.

   Old Bell has a very nice menu, quite extensive that can satisfy different taste buds. I had the Sunday Roast with Rib of Beef. It was delicious and tasted just as I had imagined. The staff were friendly and polite. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. This is a nice restaurant with family and friends.
