We are extremely dissatisfied with this hotel and feel that we have paid a significant amount for a standard that is far below what was expected. The room was unclean upon arrival, with visible mould, leftover hair, and generally poor hygiene. In addition, there was a strong and unpleasant sewage smell coming from the bathroom, which made the room very uncomfortable. We also did not sleep well at all, as the beds were uncomfortable and the smell persisted throughout the night. We raised these issues with the hotel staff, however we were informed that there were no alternative rooms available and no resolution was provided. To make matters worse, the room is incredibly cold. Despite raising this with staff, nothing was done to address the issue. We have been unable to sleep properly and have had to wear our coats and use the duvets just to keep warm. To add to this we had a family next door to us who persisted to make noise all night , we complained again and nothing was done to help. Again we had no sleep at all. This is completely unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed with this experience and will not be visiting this hotel again in the future. I have attached photos clearly showing the issues mentioned above. Given the poor condition of the room, lack of comfort, and absence of any effective resolution from staff, I will be looking into a refund for this stay.

I had a pleasant stay for one night whilst attending a wedding. The room was good size, price and very comfortable. The hotel was quiet at night. The receptionists were very helpful, especially as I wanted to refund the breakfast meal I purchased. Which they approved. Their breakfast is served in the pub next door, the service was very slow in there, when I had dinner the night of my stay. I had to cancel my breakfast because it was served from 8am on the Saturday which was too late to get ready and leave for my event.

As Premier Inns go this is not the greatest, it feels a bit forgotten about. The rooms don't have air conditioning so they get very hot, there's a terrible sewage smell outside the entrance and it feels like it needs some TLC. Room was clean and the beds are up to the usual good standard though which is the main thing I guess.

Very poor for a Premier Inn β€” Mainly because the room was so unclean (with cobwebs, dead insects, a tooth, contact lens, bits of a bag, some part of a children's game and hairs etc. found all over the place). The rooms also desperately need a refurb and the WiFi was just unusable, even for loading text on websites or sending a picture. The bed was okay, there's free parking and the rooms seem relatively quiet, but there's no air con and the whole place is really only fit for a very low-budget, one-night stay when it's not too hot outside, maybe not even then.

I've stayed at a number of Premier Inns and never had an issue but this one wasn't up to standard. We got in at 10.30pm with 2 young children so quickly put them to bed but we found that the whole room was covered in cobwebs, and not just a few small ones, obviously not been removed in weeks, maybe longer. With the main light on they weren't as obvious, but just the lamps on they were alot more noticeable. However they didn't really affect our ability to use the room and our children were in bed so we decided to not make a big deal and just let the front desk know on the way out. In the morning we found a few other issues that made us question how well the room was cleaned. The bin and the carpet next to it had spilled food from whoever used the room previously. And when we were using the bathroom in the morning the toilet tissue dispenser only had a handful tissues in there, so it hadn't been restocked. I reported it as we checked out and the staff behind the counter apologised and recommended we leave some feedback online. So later that day I contacted Premier Inn customer service letting them know we weren't entirely happy with our stay due to the above. I do get it's not a 5 star hotel, but some basic cleanliness and restocking is to be expected. A few days later we got an email saying they were sorry but the front desk staff didn't have any record of it so they basically didn't believe us. And as I didn't raise it when I found it it mustn't have been a big deal. I don't like causing a fuss so most of the time I let things go but I did not like being accused of trying to make things up for the possibility of saving a few pounds. We didn't report the cobwebs at 10.30pm as our kids were in bed already and we were tired and didn't fancy changing rooms or getting someone to cleaned the room. And the other things like the spilled food and lack of toilet paper we found as we were preparing to leave and therefore did report when we found them. Hopefully most people have a better experience than ours and like I said before I've stayed at dozens of premier inns for work and usually never had an issue, but we won't be using this one again. One positive is the pub next door was very friendly and had a lovely atmosphere for breakfast.

Really comfy beds and good linen but general strong aroma of sewerage outside and in the corridors. My mum's room also smelled strongly too. 1 towel provided for 2 of us so had to ask for another. Huge llandii trees immediately outside our room so very dark. Shame as I think there was a nice view beyond! Poor breakfast too. In fact, poorest P.Inn breakfast we've ever had. Quiet location though. Had to clean the loo before we used it. Disappointed.

I was staying in the Premier Inn last Wednesday/Thursday night and every morning when I came in for breakfast the young lady always greeted me with a smile and was very friendly. You could see she was rushed off her feet as she was working alone when everybody was all coming in at once. She always put the customers first and despite her other colleagues watching her instead of helping her. She work really hard and even managed to say bye to me as I was walking out the door. Great services by Natacha despite being on her own.

The hotel is in a country location and a good 30 minutes drive into reading consideration of the traffic. Reception had issues with computer which over charged me. In the morning offered refund. Rooms are very tired and need of updating. There was an awful smell in the bathroom and no toilet paper. Reception person came to room with a spare loo roll and air freshener! That all said positive was a comfortable bed and pub restaurant next door was really good.

I usually like Premier Inn, I find there is a good standard for a decent price. Unfortunately, that can't be said of this one. It's badly in need of renovation - our bathroom was disgusting, with a rotten wood floor and door and it smelled like drainage. Lumpy mattress and not very clean room. Worst of all, the fire alarm kept going off, once at 3am, for no reason. Walls were thin and we could hear someone snoring in the night. Overall one of the worst Premier Inns I've ever stayed in.

Shame the vending machine in reception was broke, didn't want to go over to the bar area outside. Room 2 adapted room for disabled guests should have better grab handles next to toilet. Only one handle about 1.5 ft away was a stretch too far. Otherwise room was excellent.
