Overhyped unfortunately. OK so we take the last slot to eat a Sunday dish but my goodness I wouldn't serve what we had for free. Incredibly salty and literally swimming in gravy!! Plenty of flavoursome meat but minuscule veg portion and a tough Yorkshire pudding. The places felt like a chain and not like a pub at all. Veru disappointed as we are both HUGE Fullers fans. We may return to try the Thai but it won't be a priority regrettably.

We booked an area in the pub for a party of 16 for our Christmas lunch. The roast was delicious and the service from Ellie and the team was fantastic. Thank you looking after us so well. We had a great time.

I’m a regular Sunday night patron who has always had excellent service from Ellie. I popped in tonight (Tuesday) for a pint and the wonderful Ellie was as attentive as ever. Always love the banter and humour from the bar staff and keeps me coming back for more.

What a pub. Popped in after walking the Chess Valley walk, fire place going, exposed wooden beams, low ceilings and a dart board. It was so inviting I didn't want to leave again, oh and the food is top tier. Great Thai menu. Do yourself a favour and stop by if you are in the area.

A lovely dinner stop after a long bike ride around the Chesham area! The pub specialises in Thai cuisine, a refreshing change to the usual pub grub. I had a pan fried pork starter from the specials menu and the spicy Ped Gra Pao duck curry - both went down a treat with a pint of cider. All the staff were attentive and friendly.

Great pub in the old town with a stream running down the side of it. Serving tasty Thai food and Fuller's beers. 10mins walk and your in rolling countryside!

I visited this pub with my walking group and I want to congratulate everyone at the pub. We were so many of us and the food was lovely, prepared on time and warm. As for the decor it’s one of my favourites. Warm and cosy! From the desserts, I’d suggest you try the fried banana (see image below)

We came here to have a beer and dinner after finishing the Chess Valley Walk. The atmosphere is really nice. The very friendly staff and the inviting courtyard were my personal highlights. The food was rather spicy for my taste. However, it was tasty and served in a visually appealing way.

Amazing authentic Thai food properly made by thai lady chef! We love Thai food and this is the best we have had in years. I was so excited I forgot to take a picture, only remembered half way through :) We had four different main courses, salt and peper squid for starter and some mixed fried veg and EVERY single dish was perfect! Tasty, fresh, properly spiced thai food. We had Massaman curry, Penang curry, Tgai fried rice and Pad Thai - all excellent and good generous portions too. Good service and the owner Dave is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend. We are local and will be back many more times I am sure.

Great local pub serving a wide range of ales and amazing Thai food. We had the duck with chilli basil (Pad Gra Pao Toped) from the signature main dishes and it was excellent, hands down some of the best Thai food in greater London. The service is excellent, there's a homely neighbourhood feel to the whole place. Also dog friendly. We will definitely be back.
