   It's a nice vibe here, but the food i had was a bit bland, I ordered the big daddy breakfast it looked ok, but was served on a chopping board that was 7 to 8 inch square it was put on this to make it look more than it was, I know these tricks as I've had 20+ yrs in the food industry! But the quirkiness of it didn't make up for the sausage patties and eggs, I got my pot of tea way before my meal turned up, and by the time it did the 2nd cup I poured was Luke warm at best, If you are looking for a good English breakfast go to brunch and barista (sorry for the spelling) there's is much more substantial and costs about the same if not cheaper, this has a 3 star rating I'd give it 2 and a half if I could. It needs to put its breakfast on a plate not a lump of wood, where everything is in the way of each other@

   Southampton shop I popped in here to grab some lunch whilst Christmas shopping, I had smashed avocado on sourdough bread, with streaky bacon,tomato’s, fried eggs, rocket and mango dressing, it was absolutely delicious! Well presented, and full of flavour, I can highly recommend and certainly will be back again, I had to complement the chef on the way out, as it was well deserved,

   Great looking lunch spot - bright, open, clean and floral. Ollie (manager) was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. He brought over a highchair for my daughter and made a friend. Great service. The menu was varied, catering to the health-conscious and the self- indulging! Vegan and gluten-free options available. When the food came I was impressed with the size and quality. I have often paid more for less. I am definitely coming back. What a gem!

   Great place to eat traditional American style lovely pancakes and milkshakes lots of choice 1st visit we had savoury and second visit sweet The owner is amazing and accommodating we ordered the wrong thing and he immediate changed it no issue at all.

   Great place, well themed and super clean. Staff were excellent and my pancakes were cooked to perfection. Just like genuine pancakes from the USA. I would say they are slightly overpriced!! But great for a treat.

   Amazing pancakes! We went here as a party of 5 compromising of a vegan, a vegetarian, someone with intolerances and two omnivores and every single one of us were able to enjoy pancakes without compromising on what we wanted. It was so good that we opted for the savoury pancakes on one day then went back the next day and had some sweet pancakes. Would thoroughly recommend.

   We've been coming regularly to Stakks for a few years now and never been disappointed. The service is great, the food is fantastic, and it's a regular start to a day's shopping in Southampton for us. The early opening time (0830 hrs) is really useful, and we love the food - thoroughly recommended!

   In short Stakks is amazing. I visited with my partner 2 years ago and its been a stable talking point and joke in our relationship that we would casually go there from London just to have stakks. I'm vegan and they have loads of sweet and savoury options; definitely more than any other dessert house I've been too. These are served as crepes as opposed to actual pancakes. My partner is spoiled for choice as a non vegan. Me being a sweet tooth and them loving savory, we both had plenty of options and we're very happy. The service is efficient and is done similarly to nandos where you go up to pay. And what I like is they actually give you enough time to eat and try the food before the staff ask if everything is good. Music choices are strange but it adds to the charm and the decorations are really nice with some Instagram worthy walls. If you're in Southampton, run to stakks.
