   I used to love Matalan but to be honest I don’t know who designed some of their clothes the last year or so very disappointed Also this particular store has changed location and the home section has gone to almost nothing very disappointing! Although the store was beautifully presented and very clean and tidy.

   Horrible experience with an online purchase and the store did not offer any help. After huge headaches, I managed to return their items and they did not refund me, asked for tracking number. I do not recommend buying anything from Matalan online.

   August 2025: Now moved to a new location around the corner in the former Next shop location close to JD Sports. I saw an add on my phone about a special offer at Mataland. So, I went to my local store at West Quay retail park. I went inside and was looking around for the item. I found the entire store to be really tidy and well set out as if it had just opened. I found a member of staff who, I later discovered was the manageress. I bought the item on offer and continued to look around the store. I was very impressed by everything. I don’t normally shop here but upon seeing this immaculately displayed store I will definitely be coming back again. The prices are also very good value too.

   Not a bad store. Some if the clothes are cheap and of poor quality, but they do have some good stuff in there. Need to look around at all items before buying. I have purchased some very good clothes in there when they have the correct sizes.

   Such a nice store, and clean too. But what is the point of having an app if the wifi is so bad you cant load offers. It took 15mins to show but still wouldn't connect on my friends network, so I used mine for her. Got some great bargins.

   We found exactly what we were looking for in this shop as we had seen it advertised on the Internet. We also bought some other bits and bobs. The staff were also friendly. I would always check the Internet before coming here though.
