Children shoe store in Southampton

“I went in on Friday 11 August 2023 during a busy time and was served by Guy. I cannot praise him enough! I have problem feet and he went to every effort to get the right fit and style for my needs. We found the pair eventually and I am very happy with them. I urge everyone to use your independent businesses, I could NOT have purchased online from a chain with such problematic feet!”

“I phoned ahead, about a style I saw online and found they had a variety of sizes and widths in that style. I visited. I had the sole attention of one of the assistants who remembered my phone call. After trying on four different pairs quickly I was able to purchase and now own a wonderfully comfortable pair of shoes.”

Approximately 2pm to collect an online purchase, and the two young women on the till were so helpful and went out their way to help me, as i bought an item in the shop but i needed to go to a different collection point. But went out of their way to make my life easier, They helped me navigate retrieving my collection code, and one got the item for me, whilst i paid for the ither time , team work in action, they were an absolute credit to the store. “Good quality clothing products. Always a lovely variety. I adore the handbags here where they also sell matching purses all beautifully made. And the shoes have a nice variety in stock to from stilletos boots and trainers available up to size 8. Also on offer are a lovely selection of coats available in different lengths and styles. Clothes sizes available are sizes 6 to 18.”

“August 2025: Now moved to a new location around the corner in the former Next shop location close to JD Sports. I saw an add on my phone about a special offer at Mataland. So, I went to my local store at West Quay retail park. I went inside and was looking around for the item. I found the entire store to be really tidy and well set out as if it had just opened. I found a member of staff who, I later discovered was the manageress. I bought the item on offer and continued to look around the store. I was very impressed by everything. I don’t normally shop here but upon seeing this immaculately displayed store I will definitely be coming back again. The prices are also very good value too.”

“We where seen by a lovely girl called Maddie , we came in to get our little girl meshered up for her first ever shoes now shes trying to walk we felt realy cared for she didnt mind us snaping a couple picks as we went along it sounds silly but after a long road to getting to have our own baby this was one of the experances we where realy excited for and im so glad we where cared for by maddie she was lovely and a credit to your staff On the off chance she rembers us we where the rainbo shoes in a 3g , rainbo shoes for the rainbo baby”

“When open the store is a great place to visit , great value for items , very polite and helpful staff. Stock well presented. Plenty of dressing rooms ( not able to use due to Covid) . Click and collect service is available and you are kept updated by text to say when recived in store. Remember to use your membership card.”

“I had a very positive experience at Clarks Winchester yesterday. Our salesperson was Amelia G and she was so great with my two boys (age 2 & 4) she was very patient with the littlest one. I felt she really engaged with them positively and listened to the eldest with what he likes. I would highly recommend this store as it feels very personal. “I used to buy in Matalan several years ago then I moved house several times and it wasn't a shop near me and this time there is a nice shop one hour away from me but I like it very much We spent more time and money on what we wanted but we will shop here again as they have nice clothes and good prices. I like the size of the shop, easy to move around and the queue to try on your clothes doesn't exist so you don't waste time waiting. The cashier was polite and she took her time with us. All very good.”

“We have visited Lucy of CeCe and Me for over 6 pairs of shoes for our two sons. It all started after 3 epic meltdowns in a row, in Clark’s, with our eldest son. The consistency that Lucy offers in our visits, means it’s something he actively looks forward to (and doesn’t want to end!) The shoes offered are lovely and also practical, and really stand up to nursery and scooting about the place. We could not recommend Lucy and her service enough.”
