The brands they carry are fab, many made in Britain and their customer service is fantastic. They are really patient with our little one who is now a whizz at getting his feet measured by their wonderful team. We'll be back again soon!”

“I went in here to look at some new casual shoes for myself &ended up coming out with two pairs as both reduced in price.Both have small wedge effect heals one in black leatherette with bar fastening of velcro,the second is navy blue canvas with elastic side inserts to help with slip on style.Very pleased with choice&staff were very pleasant & helpful.”

“I went for a gait analysis today and was very happy with the service. I was served by Mary who is very knowledgeable and gave plenty of good advice on what shoes would be best for me as I’m training for my first half marathon and have not ran further than 10km before. The gait analysis results were explained clearly and I was able to try on a variety of different shoes and felt I could take my time and there was no pressure to buy and I settled on a pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS. I was also given advice on nutrition and how to keep my energy levels up during longer distance runs with energy gels/bars so also got a sample pack of some flapjacks and will return to get some bars or gels during my training and for race day! Running Form is a lovely small business, and it’s clear those working there are knowledgeable about all things running! I’d recommend paying them a visit whether you’re just starting out with running or have completed multiple ultras!”

“Great shopping experience today, not been in for ages but the clothing is gorgeous for autumn, lovely short jumpers, really well fitting boot leg jeans and joggers, comfy and warm short jackets. Underwear also good as it always has been. I've never bought so much there's so much autumn choice and most items I got were under £16. Could have done with more variety in the boots , not everyone wants UGG style. Also the sizes are a bit mad, I'm about a size 10 to 12 but everything I bought was extra small and the jeans were 8 so size down if you go. Shout out to the ladies in the changing room who were superb, nothing was too much trouble. Great staff throughout the store and quicker service than elsewhere , River Island take note.”

A short time later a lady with long brown hair and glasses called our number. She measured my sons feet, which he loved, and recommended some shoes. We knew the selection would be limited as my son's feet are still very small, but the lady helped us find a suitable pair and assessed how he walked in them. All round, an excellent experience for us and the service from these two ladies was fabulous. Thank you.”

“I think that most people know of Matalan and this is a nicely spaced store with a good range of very reasonably priced clothing for all the family. The children's range is very useful as we know how quickly they grow out of clothes before they have had their wear out of them! There is a range of household goods too. The staff are friendly and helpful. In addition there is free parking here for four hours if you want to visit the town centre on your trip !”
