   I have to say that in these days where the customer service ball seems to get dropped most of the time by many companies, Howdens goes above and beyond expectation which is a very welcome and refreshing change. The builder we used ( Cavetto) walked off our job and the cost of their defective kitchen and other work on our extension is a matter for the courts now - despite this and the fact that Cavetto clearly haven't paid their bill at Howden's either they continue to give me support and good service whilst we try and resolve the inadequate kitchen installations that are not Howden's responsibility in any way. I would come to them for any future kitchens or doors that I need, all staff are committed, friendly and focussed on the customer outcome. Well done!

   The kitchen designer said they could provide a specific paint in order to sell cabinet doors. And did not admit otherwise until it's absence was discovered six weeks later. If you need design I would try a different Howdens depot. Edit- wrong information round two, This Time It's Structural Short version, needed a deep counter for a service area. Told me they could supply and my fitter that is wasn't needed. Kitchen can't work without. Could very easily have sourced this elsewhere if we'd known. They had over eight weeks to provide intel. Complained, got a response summarised as 'its all your fitters fault and not our problem no matter what our staff did and you have no legal claim against us'. Forwarded to the reviews team, who responded 'we're a franchise and can't control him, and you have no legal claim against us' To their trade customers, you are customers with customer rights! If they have convinced your clients to buy a kitchen they can't deliver they have mis sold and you have rights. Citizens Advice for more information
