I had a sofa delivered this morning and the delivery guys were excellent - I have an awkward access up some stairs and through 2 doors and they made it look so simple. Great service & great value 5*. Thank you.
After reading the reviews on here I see that the drivers are a regular complaint, We have a lovely sofa and thought we would donate it so someone who couldn't afford new could benefit, It's about 2 years old, My parents who are both pensioners got everything ready for collection only too have the most rudest pair of drivers with an obvious god complex tell them that a slight mark warranted it not being wanted, quote " we have the final say" that's fine if they all brand new stuff, and would of let it be but for the rudeness of the drivers, Mum asked them too leave, Needless to say as a front for a charity they should really vet the people going around collecting better, We took the sofa to another charity shop who where extremely grateful
I wouldn't bother donating here if your furniture isn't brand new, drivers are looking for literally any reason not to take. Chest of drawers not taken because the drawers didnt sit perfectly flush (like the pictures sent for collection two weeks prior!). If your furniture is in pristine condition then sell it, if not then smash it up or find another branch willing to take none perfect stuff. I understand they cant refurbish furniture - but surely the fiver something naff brings is better than "smashing it up and have a fire" (a genuine suggestion from the driver).

The shop staff were polite, and appeared knowledgeable, however omitted vital information about the delivery process, therefore the next day delivery failed miserably, which left my daughter and myself without anything to sit on until Sunday morning. For me that wasn't too much of an issue, my daughter is a very unwell young woman, so caused significant issues. Then on Sunday morning the call from the delivery driver came, and on arrival he was extremely rude,grumpy and generally impolite. Just what you need after the previous days problems!!
We have bought new and used items in very good condition here. Your staff are courteous / friendly. BHF has become my walkthrough whenever I'm in town as I check on usable items.
Fantastic experience. Spoke to Elaine and explained I was travelling from Walsall area gave me a direct line in case I got lost, upon arrival spoken in a friendly and professional manner and was assisted in placing item to vehicle. A job well done. 5 stars to all that assisted on Sunday 09th January 2022.
We came looking for a dining set, the prices are absolutely ridiculous. We then found one of the exact same dining set in a shop just down the road completely new and unused at the same exact price...(at full price may I say, therefore not even discounted!) Extremely disappointed, especially because I would've been very happy for the money to go to a charity rather than buy a new dining set for far less than their prices. Very overpriced for a used furniture shop :( Really could do with getting someone a bit more knowledgeable to price their used furniture at fair prices.
