Checking the other comments we might have caught them on a bad day except it was not very busy and it was a weekday. We waited long to get menus, which I eventually fetched. Then when I asked if we could still have tea the response from the front desk man was brusque. We then waited about 10 minutes but then when people that came in after us were served, we realised our mistake and left. I did use the toilet while we were waiting and they were not well maintained and were rather small and narrow.

Such a lovely spot in Lyndhurst for a coffee or a bite to eat. The staff are always cheerful and welcoming, and the prices are really fair. Itβs clean and has that friendly atmosphere that makes you want to linger. I always look forward to stopping here during my walks in the New Forest β itβs one of those places that just makes the day feel brighter.

A lovely tea room, great atmosphere and kind staff with a can-do attitude. Food was lovely- we had a jacket spud, toastie and some delicious scones. Smoothies were also very good. Food came very quickly and they were great with our toddler who has allergies and provided childrenβs cutlery. Amazing selection of vegan and gluten free cakes and lots of free- from options on menu. Thank you.

We popped in here for some morning refreshment whilst slugging it around the nearby shops of Lyndhurst. The waiter quickly found us a table, it was about 10am on a bank-holiday Monday so fairly busy. We ordered a hot chocolate & a chocolate-mint shake, which to be honest wasnβt very minty! It was okay, but a bit expensive really. The hot choc was very nice (words of my wife!) We decided to order a Croque Madame to share. It was actually pretty tasty, however they forgot the mushrooms and normally thereβs more of a gooey cheese with this dish so I think they could do with improving this to be more authentic. We sat inside as it was a little nippy, but outdoor seating is available. Staff seemed very efficient and friendly. Other peopleβs food appeared nice as it was brought out. A nice selection of cakes available in the cabinet. Lyndhurst is served by a large main car park just down the road, in easy walking reach of this Tea House.

We travel pass lyndhurst during our exploration of the new forest and decided to explore this nice and quaint town. While walking around the Main Street we came in to this tea house for a tart and ice cream. Amazing tarts here, one of the very best in England and the ice cream is great too. Would have come back for the food if we were not just passing by.

We had a double espresso, the cookies and cream frappe, the apple cake and toffee and apple cake. Both cakes were very moist and very fresh, the toffee one was a bit too sweet but that is just personal taste. We sat outside, lovely spot to see the world go by.

We had a very enjoyable, tasty lunch here the other day. The staff are friendly, the service is good, and I would definitely recommend the milkshakes!
