Dishonest and unprofessional. I was quoted a price for an oil change including filters, but was charged double when the work was done despite no additional work being performed. When I questioned the discrepancy, I was rudely dismissed and told not to waste their time. I asked for an invoice of the work done and received a handwritten note stating "engine oil + filters" that barely qualifies as a receipt. Avoid this place if you value honesty and transparency.
If there was no star rating I would ticked it. This place is your worst nightmare to have when you take your car for MOT. I took my car to this place for MOT, after waiting for more than two hours, (not because I went there without booking although that's what they advise you, but because there is only one person trying to do a 1000 jobs at the same time, like negotiating to sell new tyres, assessing the damage of a body car, answering phone calls...etc). After inspection in which the engine passed the test, he came back and told that the car had failed, the reason was it has major defects in the structure of the car which he can't repair and advised that I should get rid of the car. When I asked him to explain it me he refused and was very dismissive, I paid the guy, and took the car, but as I drove away I noticed that the steering wheel was not straight and the car drove side way with the driver side tyre tilted to the outside, when I went back to the shop and told him what did you do to cause this to happen, he said I did nothing to the car, another person who came from nowhere and knew nothing about the issue jumped in and began to argue with me asking me just to accept it. I was barley able to drive the car back home since the suspension and the steering was very hard to handle. Unfortunately, I took my car to that shop working well, they broke it and made it un-drivable and I'm sure it's going to cost me a lot to repair it.
It was such a low cost that my wallet got light weight.
Excellent professional and friendly service. They fixed a problem with my gears in one day, which my usual garage couldn't find after 3 visits. Have since used it for my MOT and now I won't ever go back to my old garage. It's also great to have a female mechanic who goes that extra mile to help.
Horrible when I see how this garage looks I'm little bit happy they don't touch my car. Just waist my time. I had appointment for mot but when I come they don't know nothing about me. Worst garage what I saw in my life

This is a backstreet garage in Reading that offers very affordable quotes for car repairs - I needed some welding done to get through the MOT and they did a good job for an acceptable price. Would use again.
