I live just over the road from this pub and have been meaning to go for a long time. We finally popped in and what a place! Great atmosphere, relaxing too. Loved it! Our new go to pub!
First time I went it was busy so got told to wait for a minute. I stood calm, looking for my friend and then the bouncer just decided I was too drunk to come in. The whole time I was calm and spoke in an ordinary fashion, I hadn't even drank anything that night.
Our Meetup group booked for 60 people to celebrate our 1 Year Anniversary and it was such a fantastic experience. They had a lovely sign up to welcome us and two different areas with tables set aside for us. The owner of the Bar, Jed, was very attentive and constantly asking if I/we needed anything. They also gave us a free shot of Baby Guinness each which everyone really appreciated. The music (choice and volume!) and general vibe (we basically had the whole place to ourselves) throughout the night was brilliant. We will definitely be back!
We went to Shenanigans last Saturday to finish off what was a great Saturday night. It was my wife’s birthday and we had a table reserved which they held even though we were a bit late. The bar has a brilliant atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff and a fantastic pint of Guinness. I would 100% recommend this place.
This was a fantastic pub to go drinking at, with a heavy Irish vibe all around! Flags, colours and Irish related frames dominate the atmosphere, where the counter is well-presented. Staff were patient and I had a quality bottle of Magner's Irish Cider, sitting at the comfy leather sofa!

In Southampton for a weekend, down from London. We had a fantastic time Friday night. Great atmosphere and the music was brilliant. Friendly crowd, good bar staff. Enjoyed watching the Guinness Challenge! We'll come back sometime :)
