   Exceptional in every way. My young family & I were on a visit to the new forest, and found the White Hart on our last evening in the area. I wish we had found it sooner! Welcoming staff, great atmosphere & most importantly, incredible food! The price wasn’t cheap but not expensive either, we are a family of 5 and spent around £130 inc drinks. The kids menu was great & their portion sizes were amazing! Our food (we had the duck) was beautiful! 100% I would recommend this place to anybody!

   Me and my partner went for the first time a couple of days ago and went again last night and both times the experience was lovely. Just what you want. The food both times was amazing and amazingly presented. Portions were pretty good for the prices you pay. It was filling and flavourful. The service was amazing was served both times by a lady called Sian and she was very attentive and polite made us feel welcome and relaxed. Amazing atmosphere as well. From the design of the place to the staff and customers. All round great place and when me and my partner come back down this way we will be coming back.

   We recently had dinner at The White Hart and were genuinely impressed by the entire experience from start to finish. The setting of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful — full of charm and character, with a cosy yet elegant atmosphere that makes it perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a warm, welcoming environment. The staff were exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine friendliness and made to feel incredibly welcome. Throughout the evening, the service remained attentive without ever feeling intrusive. The team was knowledgeable about the menu and happy to answer questions or make recommendations, which added a lovely personal touch. The food was truly outstanding. Every course was presented beautifully and full of rich, balanced flavours. We would especially recommend the duck leg and the salmon linguine — both dishes were perfectly cooked, generously portioned, and absolutely delicious. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients and the skill in the kitchen. Overall, we had such a fantastic dining experience at The White Hart. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a beautiful place to enjoy a meal.

   Such a lovely place to come and get lunch /dinner with friends or family. They have a lovely spacious garden and some playing equipment for the kids to enjoy. They also have a lovely Tractor in the garden which you can sit on and enjoy. :) The food was tasty and definitely worth coming for! They also do a wide range of gluten free options which was very good for myself. They also have a kids menu and have good options and the portion sizes are good. I would recommend visiting! ☺️

   Love this place, its very close to being our “local”, but probably best its a car drive away, otherwise we would be there all the time !! We’ve just had a lovely meal in the cosy dining room which was actually mainly paid for from the winning their monthly prize draw, giving us £50 off our meal. Quite apart from prize though, what stands out is the quality of the food, great combinations, rich flavours and a chef that goes that bit further than your average gastro pub. We have never been disappointed coming here, the staff are always friendly and cheery and happy to have a chat whilst the range of drinks is good, very few pubs have Tarquins Gin outside of Cornwall for example, all topped off with excellent food. They also have some great marketing ideas too worth a mention. We regularly get vouchers with each main course which gives you a free main meal up-to £12 once you get 6 vouchers which effectively is £2 off each main meal. For their Christmas promotion its sealed envelopes with vouchers inside for 25%, 50% or 100% off your tables bill but only when you present your sealed envelope (unopened) when you visit next. Great simple ideas that make you want to revisit. As said its pretty much our “local” so revisiting is not going to be issue !!! Well done to everyone that makes this lovely New Forest pub a great place to visit!!

   Having lived locally for years, we have only recently visited this pub. Pleasantly surprised, a decent size and very cosy inside with the layout. We sat in the comfy armchairs by the fireplace. The fire wasn't on as its been milder recently, but it was a lovely temperature. Plenty of options on tap and a good choice of food. We only popped in for lunch, but really enjoyed our food, it was very flavourful. Will definitely come back for dinner sometime!

   What a gem of a find! Lovely pub situated near Lyndhurst. Two minutes off the motorway. The Chicken ham and leek pie was grand! Big garden, play area, plenty of parking, oh and the Brownie dessert was lovely. We'll be back!

   Absolutely loved it here, we were en route to Lyndhurst after staying in Bournemouth for a few days. We had planned to have brunch in Lyndhurst however the traffic was really bad so we decided to carry on driving and we came across this wonderful place. We ordered starters and mains and they were just amazing. The food and service we felt were impeccable, we had to wait a little while in between courses but we didn't mind too much. There was a lovely play area that our youngest daughter pretty much played on the whole time! Highly recommend, we had a lovely meal!
