   The cricketers has a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere and has become a central venue for the nightlife of Southampton! Open until 1 AM - The Cricketers is much more of a bar vibe than a club. Food is served until 9 PM on Friday and Saturday nights. The Cricketers often have some of the best local musisicans perform and most nights there is some sort of event on. I managed to catch The Excellent Paul, Charlie and Max perform an excellent set full of 90's and 00's classics, creating a fantastic night! This is a great place to find if you are looking for a great. Night out in Southampton to watch some live music, a place to go for a meal, somewhere to go to get put the house for a quick one on your own or a place to gather the crew for a proper bar crawl. Always a great night out at the Cricketers

   This pub is by far the best pub in Southampton! It’s such a good atmosphere, the food is amazing and at a very good price. I go there regularly specially for open mike on Mondays, the staff are super friendly and make everyone feel welcome, Emily and Reuben in particular, as I walk in and they know what I’ll be ordering! They always have a smile on their faces. Whether I go with friends or family, it’s always a good laugh!

   We stopped in on the recommendation of our taxi driver, who Said that cricketers was the best pub in Southampton. After the friendly and wonderful service we received from Chelsea, I'd tend to agree with him. Everything was very tasty. So glad we stopped here for dinner and a drink.

   This place was recommended by Dany our taxi driver when we mentioned we wanted to go to a pub. I understand why! I had the fish n chips and everything was soooo amazing! Chelsea was so sweet and helpful! I wish we were staying here longer just so I could come here a couple more times

   Great venue, lovely staff and a good selection of pub food classics, draught cider, lager and ale. A great supporter of the local Music scene with a weekly open mic and regular live acts at the weekend.

   Came here on the off chance to watch the open mic on a monday. Great staff, Lovely burgers, good selection of drinks and friendly atmosphere. Was really busy and even ended up playing a few tracks, will definitely be back

   Just back from a weekend in Southampton. The Cricketers was a great find. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere created by the staff was very friendly. As we were a large group, we tried most things from the menu all of which was of a high standard. I would recommend the carvery if passing by on a Sunday. It was hard no to sample some of the award winning ales which are available. We plan to go back again soon.

   I wanted to update my review after some time since I last visited. I have been to this place on and off for many years. Always received a nice welcome. It’s got a traditional style, award winning food, plenty of seating with stools and wingback chesterfield chairs. There’s also, an outdoor rear patio area with more outdoor bench seats at the front. There is also a high level of cleanliness throughout together with hand sanitizer’s available. I wish to pay tribute to “Kat” for this. And, more recently the outstanding fundraising for the people of Ukraine as well as providing supplies. I have no hesitation in recommending this place for a quick pint or a Sunday lunch. Highly rated.
