Rly nice people who work there ! Just a shame it's always closed , came again today and its shut with workers inside.. and always closes at night too, 40 mins early - even though it says open / people are buying petrol
The cyber security incident has really impacted the supply chain at M&S - shelves continually empty. Good job there is Tesco nearby.
I had been on the road a long way, so seeing a Wild Bean cafe/M&S was a welcome sight. I basketted my food (and coffee) for when I got home. I'm a fan as half-price bread as the next guy, so I grabbed a french loaf (yum). As I was paying he suddenly says 'oh, I can't sell you this, it should have been removed' and took the baguette out of the bag (grrh) - when I got home, the bread was still on my bill. The loo was welcome though.
I visited today to buy my favourite Falafel sandwich and regular coffee. Unfortunately, milk got over in the coffee machine. The chap at the counter was very polite and offered large coffee as I had to wait for 5-10 min. No big deal - as it happens! But I comment his politeness and for the offer. Great service, truly M&S brand.
On the 24th of December bought a honey mustard with cheese sandwich that was on the shelf and would expire on the same day...when I've opened it, the ham was grey and smelled bad. One star because staff do not check labels and customers could get food poisoning...also, did not went for a refund, as rushed to Christmas festivities...not happy about it and won't return. Thank you.
So in the middle of being served having queued up at this M&S. In the middle of my transaction the cashier breaks off the serve two deliveroo drivers. Taking the xxxx; why can’t you serve the person you are with, after all your colleague was in the corner. Getting fed up of poor retail etiquette, I got of my backside to shop with you. I feel like being in the school dinner line and the bullies pushing in front of me!
Handy for me,but extortionately expensive. £4 for a punnet of cherry tomatoes,£6 for a pizza,£2 for a bottle of water!
23 August 17.30. Staff not wearing masks and customers without face masks and coverings allowed in. When asked was told by staff that it's not compulsory and they cant enforce on customers. Pretty pathetic attitude with little regard for health and safety.
this shop is 2 minutes away from me and every time i been there on sundays i would say 5 times now,they are always shut before 11pm..i confronted them about this the following day and they told me it is there right to shut the shop if its quiet..thats what you call epic customer service...
Can be a bit pricey, so not for a big shop, but great for picking up bits and pieces and the staff here are lovely.
