"The man at reception in this embassy is extremely rude and arrogant. He treats everyone with zero respect, talks down to people, and behaves like he’s doing us a favor just for showing up. Nobody deserves to be treated like this, especially in an embassy where respect should be the first priority. Because of him, people hate coming here. If he has personal problems, that’s not the public’s fault — he should not be in a job dealing with people. His attitude is a disgrace to the embassy."

Took 5 hours just to sort out my ID application, this embassy seriously needs to start limiting the amount of appointments available in a day because this was simply all a joke. The staff are just as clueless too. Please employ more staff to, as it’s not fair after waiting hours to be told to leave the building then come back after an hour so the staff can have there lunch break, just to wait even longer after. Please also have more seating in the waiting area if you’re trying to accommodate all these people at the same time.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience at the Embassy of the State of Eritrea in London. From the warm welcome at reception to the professionalism of the entire staff, I was truly impressed. Despite being very busy, the team remained friendly, respectful, and helpful throughout. They made every effort to accommodate each visitor with patience and efficiency. I highly recommend that visitors book their appointments online and arrive on time to ensure smooth service for all. For those coming from outside London, it would be helpful if the Embassy introduced an online document submission system in advance. Overall, a very positive visit – thank you to the entire team for your dedication and excellent service!

I have been on the phone trying to get a visa for 4 hours now and they still don't answer...something needs to change in this embassy. All the workers are lazy! This is not a political issue...it is a moral issue the receptionist and call handler need to be fired! The call handler will also say "I can't hear you properly" to try and end the call quickly...zis is shameful!

So this is my first ever visit to the embassy. I had great experience and positive vibes from everyone. Specially the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There were few issues with the phone connections, which caused a bit of delays. However, staff were extremely keen to help and facilitate the process. Thank you again for the help and support.

I have tried to call to ask some questions about travelling to Eritrea but the receptionist keeps putting my call on hold and hung right there while I was trying to explain why I was calling. This is ridiculous there must be some adjustments to this. If they are busy or they cannot answer the phone they should say it in a professional manner.
