   I received excellent advice and support from Zafar in the Consular team. After my evisa application was rejected he gave me the link to apply for a visa from the Embassy and three days later after speaking to him I had an appointment at at the Embassy and received a visa in my passport there and then, for a £60 charge. Excellent service and Zafar is a real pleasure to speak to, always willing to do as much as possible to assist.

   I noticed some other reviews referencing a lady at the counter and would like to add to that - I did share similar experience earlier this month where she basically gave me a lecture in a condescending tone on how I should have prepared and presented the supporting documents, whilst there were no clear specification on how they should have been documented throughout the online application process. The website also clearly stated it would take 5 working days to proceed (which it did for me), however she advised at the counter that it might be 5-7 working days instead. She was rather annoyed when I questioned that point and gave me another lecture on how people usually submit their application at least a month in advance. I completely understand as a consulate representative it is her job to ensure all applications should meet the requirements set by her government, I however cannot see how her attitude and overall demeanor is considered helpful.
