I had a fantastic experience at the Belgium embassy yesterday when I needed urgent help with my passport. Since I got my wallet stolen which was containing my Belgium passport few days before traveling. The service was efficient, professional, and kind from the moment I arrived. I would especially like to thank Ms. D. Godefroid for her outstanding assistance. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Her professionalism and friendly attitude truly made a difference. I'm very grateful for the support and quick resolution. Thank you again to the Belgium Embassy —and especially to Ms. Godefroid—for your dedication and excellent service!
They do answer emails relatively quickly. But their phone lines are abysmal. They keep you waiting for 20 minutes to then tell you no one is available and hang up. I know some problems can easily be handled by email. But for some more complex problems it would be nice to be able to speak to someone. After trying multiple times I have never been able to actually talk to someone as they always cut me off after waiting for a long time. At this point just remove your phone number from the website!
I’m very happy with how smoothly the passport and ID card renewal went. Embassy staff is kind, helpful and professional. I’m surprised to read negative reviews, there must’ve been some sort of misunderstanding there. I can only talk about my experience of course, but I found everyone who I encountered in the past 4 months while getting my documents sorted extremely welcoming and generous. Many thanks to the lovely ladies at the passport counter for all your work!
Really very happy and satisfied with the service of Embassy as i needed my passport in emergency due to my bro illness and to travel abroad and I got less than a week . Lady who deals was really helpful.
Very helpful embassy. I had to renew my expired passport due to an emergency. It was fully booked online and contacted them via email, they straight away replied same day or next day can't remember now. Gave me an appointment within 1 week and my passport was ready in about 10 days. They are very efficient, professional and helpful.
The worst experience with Schengen visa. I applied for a visa on 12/10 and still haven't received my passport, and today is 15/11. It has been more than 15 working days and 30 calendar days. No one is helpful at the embassy or at TLS Contact. If I had known, I would have applied through France or any other EU country. Avoid the Belgian embassy. Very disappointed.
THE MOST WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE ACCOUNTED!! THE CONSULATE NEEDS TO DO THEIR JOB INSTEAD OF NOT LOOKING AT MY PASSPORT PROPERLY AND SAYING I DIDNT GET A STAMP ON MY WAY BACK FROM MY PREVIOUS HOLIDAY WHEN YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THE STAMP ON MY PASSPORT. AND NOT TO MENTION THEY DO NOT HAVE A PHONE NUMBER BECAUSE THEY KNOW VERY WELL THAT THEY WILL GET NOTHING BUT COMPLAINS BASED ON THEIR POOR WORK!!!! COMPLETE JOKE AND I WILL MAKE SURE MY LAWYERS HEAR ABOUT THIS
Very well run and efficient. Go Belgium! It's only a 5min walk from Hyde Park corner tube station. There's a Pret a manger outlet a 5min walk as well
