Brilliant staff from arrival, throughout the stay and at departure. Thanks to Alan & Matt for great waitering and laughs and Kate for the great service. Also the restaurant and kitchen staff were all super friendly and helpful. We did two nights to take in the NY dinner event. We sat with a great table of complete strangers to share an excellent evening of food, wine and celebration until the wee hours. A great night had and we will return for another., The bar and reception area are lovely to chill in. The food was really good. Dinner, breakfasts and pizzas are all excellent and good value. The room was large and well decorated. The bed and linen were superb as always in IHG. Only down sides for me were the tiny bathroom, badly designed doors to it and the wardrobe, low shower pressure and the aircon only seems to cool, when the weather outside was freezing. Probably needs a mini fridge in the summer too. Bring back the good biscuits!

This is very comfortable hotel conveniently located in 10 minutes drive from Winchester town center and in very quite area. Rooms are very comfortable. The hotel is dog friendly, we felt very welcomed and been treated great. Room is big and very comfortable, the hotel is very clean, restaurant and room service works perfectly well. I would advise this place without any reservations.

I've stayed a few times and always have a pleasant stay. I haven't used the spa but the restaurant is good... Breakfast is plentiful with a wide range of food. The lamb shank is delicious! My most recent stay was as I was visiting the Science Centre, so perfect location as it's next door! Rooms have modern decor, large beds and TV and provided toiletries are lovely. The rooms always smell nice too! PowerPoints have USB ports too and there is climate control so you can have the room at whatever temperature you like. Has a 'luxury' feel. Staff always friendly and you have a contact before hand so can arrange restaurant booking etc via them too!

Excellent excellent excellent, no fault at all, the staff from the beginning to the end were all helpful and happy to help. We booked the hotel ( 4 adult and a child ) for 2 night. We had a faulty safety lock inside our room made a phone call it was fixed immediately. The lady behind the breakfast food counter was very friendly and willing to help, "she kept on asking do I want anything which was nice", in short all the staff were nice and friendly. The hotel it self was very clean and neat, nice gym and spa, there wifi excellent. My highlight of those 2 night for me was the bed, it was clean, smooth and soft, I think my soul left my body dancing sleeping on that bed, best feeling ever. Definitely recommending and will be going back soon

As others have commented a bright, modern and comfortable hotel. Didn't eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant but breakfast and its service were great. It is out of town but parking at the hotel was free and the bus and taxi service in to the city centre were both convenient and reasonably priced. Overall we were impressed by superlative service delivered by cheerful and friendly staff.

Really nice hotel. Nice and up to date. Clean and tidy. The restaurant menu is good and the food fine, but the service was slow and a bit disjointed. The conference facilities are nice, but again a bit poor on service. I had to ask my candidates to keep their coffee mugs because there wasn't enough and also some of the candidates dietary requirements were missing on their enrollment forms. Over all the accommodation and event went well and engagement with the staff was always friendly.

We had a three day break to visit Winchester Christmas market and the Holiday Inn was a suitable base. Plenty of free parking. Check in easy and staff friendly and helpful. Rooms very good and temperature very good. Unfortunate that there were no biscuits supplied in the room with tea and coffee. Buffet breakfast very good with extensive buffet. Menu in the dining room was good. Service not the quickest - we waited nearly an hour one night. The major negative was the low temperature in the reception area and dining room. It was very cold!

Really nice place. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were friendly. Great parking. A bit out of the way but, worth the drive. Didn't eat here but, food looked great. Had coffee and cake. Which was lovely. Would definitely stay again and will try the food next time.
