    Does everything you need in a hotel at a competitive price. That said, it does in a few ways feel on the cheap side - no evening meals bar pizza, just the greggs for breakfast. But as long as you're not in the mood for pampering, there's a functioning bar, bed, TV... And in the summer we'd prefer quality air con so may not stay here in the hotter months. However, staff are genuinely friendly, the water is hot and places nearby offer cooked breakfast if that's a deal breaker (e.g. Richmond Village, Aston on Trent or any of a number of pubs). I don't feel right saying 5 stars as that implies a wow of pampering; however, truly taking into account value per pound (3 nights for £120 in late 2025) you can't fault this hotel.

    Brilliant night stay as we were having a Christmas party. Lovely welcome at reception and room was lovely and clean. Would definitely recommemd amd will definitely stay again.

    Hands down the best Day's Inn in the country ... staff are always cheerful, helpful and go the extra mile. Warm, comfy, clean rooms; EV charging and easy parking. Pizza & curry available with a microwave if you have your own food. Ticks all the boxes.

    I have stayed in one of these hotels before, no issues. This one had a friendly welcome at check in with a local, so no communication issues. The room was a mirror image of the last location, it just smelt like an ashtray even though it clearly says no smoking. I opted for breakfast included, that ended up being a box, thankfully I have no allergies as it’s not dairy and gluten-free friendly. Happy to stop off at one of these hotels again.

    Although the rooms are dated and the hotel needs a good revamp, it’s is clean and perfectly located. It was an easy stay for going to the airport the following morning. I booked early and got a much better price than what I would have paid if I’d have stayed at one of the hotels at the airport, for the sake of barely a 15 minute journey in the morning. The staff are great. The lady that checked me in gave plenty of local recommendations. Would definitely recommend for a quick stop off ⭐️

    Motel/hotel close to Nottingham and Derby. Good sized room, and a fantastic price. Used it for an early flight from EMA. For the price, cannot beat it. Was a little noisy due to the road, but all in all, it was clean, handy and accessible. Would use again.

    Banger of hotel on a cheap one, got in late, the staff were still friendly and chirpy, did a deal on bottle water and booked me in pronto... Sheets were clean and no skids in the toilet, that is a win at this price. Hence the full 5 stars (i paid around £35 for a room) Will certainly book again, especially as its on the motorway, i was on the road in minutes of jumping in the van.

    I found the Days Inn by Wyndham Donington A50 to be clean, inviting and downright classic! The staff CRAIG and SIAN was very friendly and consistently making sure I was comfortable They both had Great attitude. Helpful, and always available. Very friendly very respectful and they made me feel like its my own house. I will always stay at this location when traveling to or through. Highly recommended to everyone out there.     Three weeks here the last week a disaster No sleep due to dog's barking throut the Night at reception 01am to complain up At 4 am to go to work, Night staff not allowed to do anything other than sitting in the reception area. Not aloud to go outside Will I stop here another WEEK? No No help from most of the staff. Rooms cleaned when they can be bothered Even if you pu t this on the door handle

    My stay was good and reason was the morning receptionist Denise as she was very kind, professional and supportive. Really appreciate her help. Also she offered me complimentary tea while I was checking out and waiting for my family. Well done Denise and days inn for having great staff like Denise.
