Good position for the local shops. Beautiful countryside all around with ponies and foals in abundance. Many places to visit in the area. Would recommend Bucklers Hard! We were very upset about the fact that there were no breakfasts available. I am 81 years old, and it made it quite difficult!!! This was not made clear on line.
A lovely B & B which we would most definitely stay at again. The owners are lovely and we were well looked after. The breakfast was really good and the location is great for walking and cycling. It's also just a couple of minutes away from La pergola the best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten at.
We had a really lovely stay here, the hosts are so friendly and welcoming. The room was so nice and a great breakfast. We loved the location as we could easily walk to the shops, cafes and restaurants.
We loved our stay here in March 2020. The hosts were very friendly and warm, the rooms were nice and clean, wi-fi was fast, showers had hot water, and breakfast was as expected. We would stay again next time we are in the New Forest.
A place about 5 minutes walk from the center of Lyndhurst. Right in the middle of great walking and cycling places. The folks who run this are friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast served till about 9. Everything on the menu is local. Clean rooms. The house has history. Would've loved to know about it.
Stayed here with my girlfriend in August 2013. Had a great short stay of 5 days. Room was clean and well kept. We had a hot breakfast each day which was well cooked and tasty. The house is only a few minutes walk from the centre of Lyndhurst and can be reached from the train station by either the number 6 bus or a taxi from Ashurst New Forest train station.
