   Stayed here for two nights, we had such a lovely time. The location is perfect, near enough to shops and pubs but also feels private. We ate at the restaurant on the first night and really enjoyed the food and were impressed with the vegan/vegetarian options. Staff were very welcoming and kind and after we managed to forget our phone chargers upon leaving, they sent them to us in the post for no charge.

   Had a lovely stay at The Bentley Brook Inn, the past couple of nights. From arriving to our departure the staff and owners were fantastic and couldn't do enough for us and they were really lovely to our furbabie Monty and made us feel really welcome. The food was amazing and we can highly recommend the chicken kebab sharing platter, which was fab-u-lous. We will be returning very soon, because we had a really lovely stay.

   Third visit here for food. Each meal excellent, steak is beautiful, and cooked to perfection. We also had curry and chilli on a Thursday autumn special offer both of which were gorgeous, curry and chilli just right. Staff are lovely and very attentive and friendly. Will be back

   Had a lovely lunch today. We are staying nearby. My husband had a huge platter with various nibbles, fries, salad, coleslaw and sauces. I had a caesar salad with smoked salmon. It was fabulous. Really friendly welcomebtoo and we could take the dog into the bar

   We recently stayed here and enjoyed a lovely meal and the staff even took us and collected us from the nearby town when we were struggling with taxi. Nice clean room. Yes the decor is a bit dated but it's an inn and I expect an older look as that's part of the charm for me. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will return.

   I've been to a wedding there and popped in for lunch . It can get quite busy. always better to book but you can walk in and ask for a table . Nice big jug of custard when you order the sponge pudding. The burgers look nice . Staff very polite warm and friendly. And yes sponge pudding home made.x

   Just gone Sunday lunch for the buffet with family and friends. Reasonable prices for most items. A warm welcome with a log burning fire and a small selection of good beers. Always book a table for 4 or more, especially in cold weather as you won't want to eat outside in the cold.

   WONDERFUL!!! What A lovely place to stay. We had the Beresford suite and it was beautiful. The en suite was really well laid out with a bath and separate shower cubicle and it was so clean It sparkled. The bed was really comfy and the sitting area was a lovely addition and everywhere was really clean. The breakfast was one of the best I've had with everything cooked properly - nicely cooked bacon with the fat gently crisped. All members of staff that we met were so helpful and friendly and we will definitely come here again. Can't wait.
