Ideal for visiting Alton Towers and the surrounding area. Owner is very helpful and goes out of her way to assist in any way she can. Staff are very helpful and give an excellent service. Rooms are comfortable and airy. The in is very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.
Margaret, Dave, Alice and all the staff are amazing, so helpful, accommodating and very friendly. The evening food is fantastic and the cooked breakfasts also great. I would happily recommend this to other people wanting to stay less than 10 minutes from Alton Towers and also wanting to enjoy the local area. Kind regards, Alistair.
I just want to say a big thank you to Margaret the owner of Peakstones inn everything was great. The beds were so comfortable to sleep. I had the most amazing sleep in my kids wake up in the morning. First thing they said it was this beds are amazing hah the service was 100%. Food was amazing The stuff was great. It made you feel like you're back a home. Big thank you to everyone. What a fabulous place. The owner, Margaret, was truly lovely. We stayed in chalet 4 with was spotlessly clean, well equipped with Tea/coffee. There were 4 of us: 2 Adults, 2 Kids. The beds consisted of a double, bunk beds and a single bed. The mattresses were very comfortable, the pillows soft and plump and the bedding crisp and fresh. We all slept like logs. The setting is lovely and tranquil. Although we never ate in the pub, the menu looked great and we'll definitely have food in the lovely looking restaurant next time we're there. Dink prices were really reasonable and the bar has so so much character. Add to that, the wonderful owner Margaret and you really can't go wrong staying here. I highly recommend Peakstones Inn. Our stay there was without fault and exceeded expectations. It made our weekend all the more special. 5 stars for everything.
I thought the staff were really polite and friendly. The food was well cooked. The public toilets weren't very clean as they was no access to a ventilator in the cubicle loos. The hotel was satisfactory but the hotel wasn't hoovered when we got back from alton towers. They ought to hoover it everyday.
Stayed here because we were visiting Alton Towers which is only a 10min drive. Stayed in the family which is very spacious and clean. The food is delicious and freshly cooked when ordered. I would recommend the full English for breakfast. The staff are warm and friendly and the whole place is a credit to Margret a true lady. They also cater for tents and have mobiles and bungalows to let. Highly recommend this Inn and will definitely be staying again.
Although the rooms are just smaller than your average hotel room, they are a delight to stay in and are very cosy. The staff here are amazing with great meals and service. The location is spectacular, not being too far from Alton Towers while also avoiding the main stream of traffic from the village Alton Towers is at.
Lovely place nice view and mostly quiet. Bit of passing traffic but out back sitting didn't notice it much. Owner was lovely and helpful. Room was comfy.
Peakstones Inn is a fantastic little pub. We chose to stay here as we were visiting Alton Towers and with it only being a few miles away the location was ideal. The owner and the staff were very accommodating and couldn't do enough for everyone. The dinners are basic but cooked very well and the full English was perfect for a day in the park. We stayed in one of the chalets and found it quite spacious and the beds were comfortable. I would happily stay here again.
