Wow, hosts were great the breakfast was awesome best cleanest perfect fried eggs, perfect real, not tinned, mushrooms, set me and my partner John up for the day at Alton Towers. Jo's knowledge of the local area and history is great as is her knowledge of Alton Towers and all the rides, gave us great guidance on where to start to make the most of the day. Thank you so much.

This place should be shown as an example of perfect B&B. Peaceful surroundings, spotless clean room, amazing host and delicious freshly prepared breakfast. Honestly, everything what you need visiting Alton Towers. It was a pleasure to stay at Beehive.

We had a great stay in The Beehive Guest House. We visited Alton Towers for a weekend, and the location of the guest house is perfect, just 10 min drive away. The owner of Beehive Jo is so nice to us. We arrived late, she welcomed us and gave us a lot of useful information. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices, Staffordshire Oatcake is brilliant. Our family room was perfect and clean. Great touch that she prepared fresh cold milk for us to use to make tea in the evenings. We would definitely come back! Thank you. :)

Just spent an amazing weekend there, visiting Alton Towers. Jo is a wonderful host, full of information and super dedicated to her guests. The rooms were super clean, the bathroom is spacious, and the views are beautiful, especially if you're into the whole British countryside thing. The breakfast is also nice, with great homemade Staffordshire oatcakes and local jam. Will definitely come back next time I'm at Alton Towers.

This was the perfect place to stay! My son and I were in town to go to Alton Towers, which was a short taxi ride away. Jo and Steve were so kind and welcoming. They provided us with travel info and helpful hints ahead of our trip. The breakfast was delicious-we loved the oatcakes! The room was very comfortable and well decorated. Thank you so much for a memorable get-away!

Beautiful, historical building, sympathetically restored with lots of original features. Spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast included. The lady who dealt with us was pleasant, polite and extremely helpful. Beautiful view over the river. Loads to do and see in the area. Only small criticisms, the room was very warm (heating on and windows all shut when we arrived) and considering covid is still around more ventilation is needed, landing window should be open for example.

Lovely little find. Jo and Steve were very accommodating and had taken an excellent approach to the necessary covid hygiene protocols, so felt very safe. Rooms were immaculate and tastefully decorated, beds were comfy and there were lots of thoughtful touches. Breakfast in the morning was beautifully cooked and we really did have everything we needed for a good couple of nights away. We were able to come and go as we pleased, and it was ideal for Alton Towers, a 15-20 min drive. Jo's recommendations for evening meals out and local taxi firm were also spot on! Perfect 10/10.
