Visited recently to see the new Conjuring (last rites). The cinema itself is a little outdated but personally I really liked that. The tickets were cheaper online so if you can, then I would recommend booking that way as it's about £1.50 cheaper (which I didnt realise until afterwards). Bought a toffee popcorn and a large drink - which by the way is huge! - for £9 something which to be honest I didn't think was too bad. The entire venue including the toilets were lovely and clean. Would definitely visit again.

Always seem to be more staff than customers - probably due to the expensive ticket prices. Staff at the stand where tickets are checked are often chit-chatting about their lives/yawning, and those behind counters offer poor customer service, with little interest in being there or being helpful. Was told it can take a few hours (!) to get a new batch of nacho cheese ready - should probably be more prepared seeing as it’s a commonly ordered item. BTW, it didn’t take hours - more like half an hour - just in case staff unsure what to say.

Nice atmosphere, helpful & polite staff. It was remarkably clean, only gripes are it should have hand rails to help get up the incline to the top seats and step lights would really help too. I didn't like the fact the lights were left on, caused an annoying glare the whole film. Overall great place to take the family.

Visited this Burton upon trent Cineworld Cinema to watch the Minecraft movie. The cinema itself felt quite outdated, but considering we used the family £1 offer, can’t complaint about value for money but definitely won’t buy a £10 standard ticket for any movie for this cinema. The biggest letdown was the popcorn. We ordered regular salted caramel popcorn, which cost £6.99, and it was practically inedible—far too salty. For that price, you’d expect much better quality. Definitely not worth it. Overall, okay for a bargain family outing, but wouldn’t return at full price and won’t recommend wasting money on food.

We prefer Cineworld to all other cinema brands as they have an family ticket option that is actually affordable, and the kids treat boxes are good value too. The car park at this one is a bit of a nightmare though, and it's a horrible drive through the heart of Burton to get to it, but generally quieter than other Cineworlds, and no queuing at the concessions stand, so all good on the whole.

Laking in cleanliness and seems bit dated. Car park is the best thing here. Easy parking right outside cenima free for four hours.

All of the staff are pleasant to interact with, making every trip really enjoyable and stressfree. The screens need some updating but that can be forgiven of such a big multiplex in a relatively small town - we can't expect the BFI in Burton. There is an amazing member of staff who always greets me with a big smile - really welcoming! She might not be an employee of Cineworld, she looks more like a security person. Absolute star!

My wife and i have had Cineworld unlimited cards for over 10 years now. We go every friday for our date night. £15.99 a month to see as many films as you want which is unbeatable value and 25% off food and drinks and at certain restaurants. I've always loved the cinema since i was a lad. With so many people at home streaming movies, in 10-20 years i think cinemas will be a thing of the past which i so sad. There is nothing like the big screen and more kids need to experience it to keep cinemas from going out of business. So treat yourself to a Cineworld unlimited card and
